Post subject: Unable to download web presets in media library.

"Clicking the Web tab will display all Presets and Band tracks that are available for download on the Fender FUSE Community." This initially worked and showed the web presets. But now, clicking on the web tab results in nothing. I am logged into the Community site. Am I not waiting long enough for download? This worked at first. Truly baffled.

Hi saftone56,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with accessing Fender® FUSE™ Community content. You may want to try accessing the content through the default web browser directly (https://fuse.fender.com/) for your OS (Internet Explorer for Windows & Safari for Mac). If you can access content this way, this can be a workaround to download content. Then you can use the 'Add to Library' button in the Media Library in Fender FUSE to bring the content into the application for use. And please let us know if this works for you and if you continue to see the issue with accessing Community content inside the FUSE app.

Hi fender,
I too am unable to download band tracks to my pc.
I followed your suggestion for the previous post (accessing the web site directly) but came up with the same problem.
I get to the list of band tracks OK, when I select one to download, I move to the specific page for that track OK, but the download button is greyed out and wont let me proceed.
Downloading presets for my mustang amp works fine, I just have the problem with the band tracks.
any ideas?

Hi Matta,

Thanks for your reply and information. It sounds like you may be having an issue with Adobe Flash Player or not be logged in at the time you were trying to download the Band Tracks. Please send us an email with your computer specifications and your Fender® FUSE™ Community username. Then we can check things out a bit further and do some additional troubleshooting.

thanks for the quick response.
for some reason all is working fine today. I haven't done anything different, but happy to be up an running.

Got it! After a frustrating day trying to get beyond the Adobe Flash Player problem, I finally figured it out! My default browser is FireFox and Fuse expects it to be IE. Here's how to fix it:

1) Make your default browser IE.
2) Go through the procedure to update Adobe Flash Player.
3) Bounce Fuse.
4) Test it out.. It should work now.
5) If your default browser was something else, you may now return to it being the default.

fixed the same issue for me as well.
Also spent an hour trying to figure out how to login, not realizing I had to switch to "fullscreen" mode under the view settings before I could see the login button on the bottom right. Sheeeesh... :?
Seems like this should be under a menu setting somewhere as well.
