I would like some advise on buying a good wireless headset for my Mustang amp. I purchased a Blue Tooth headset and a Blue Tooth transmitter but it has serious latency/delay problems. I'm wondering if someone has successfully used a wireless headset with there Mustand III. I would like to keep the price reasonable low.

Thanks

Why do you need "wireless" ...? Where are you going ...?

I'm trying to eliminate the head phone wire. It gets rapped up with the guitar wire and the chair, etc. Just trying to eliminate things from getting tangled up. I bought a blue tooth transmitter to plug into the "phone plug" on my amp but it has too much delay. Any advise.

The advice I have to give may not be appreciated.
The more money you spend, the less latency you will have. If you buy a $30 bluetooth transmitter, people assume when they make it it's for audiophiles who just want to listen to music. Latency is not an issue there, so they don't care about that. What you need is a PROFESSIONAL-LEVEL transmitter.

Happy hunting.

Thanks for the link FFXIhealer. I didn't know these headsets were so sophisticated or expensive, but I do appreciate learning about them.

The biggest difference between wireless headphones and BLUETOOTH headphones is that bluetooth is digital information, where regular wireless could be sent analog. The processing of the signal is what takes a bunch of the time and introduces the latency.
