Hi people, some presets have the expression pedal within the preset. I'm trying to create a preset that includes the expression pedal but for the life of me I just can't seem to do it. Please impart your wisdom and experience to me. thanks RBH

Hi Raymond Bruce Hansel,

I am happy to assist. So, you can use either the Main Menu/Utilities function or the key commands listed below to access the EXP-1 pedal window. Note that you will need the pedal connected to the amp to view the item in the Main Menu and access the window through key commands. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan

EXP-1 window access key commands:

Control + E (Win)
Command + E (Mac)

I think you misunderstand my question. I know how to edit the exp-pedal when the pedal is VISIBLE. What I don't know how to do is to call up the pedal when it is NOT VISIBLE. Some patches (factory or otherwise) have the pedal visible and therefore I can edit them. In the patches I create, I can NOT find a way to make the pedal show up so I can edit it. Am I clear? Again, how do I make the pedal show up when it is not shown?

I am NOT talking about an ADD ON Exp-Pedal BUT the onboard pedal!!!! You understand the difference right.

Hi Raymond Bruce Hansel,

I don't believe that you specified that you were using a Fender® Mustang™ Floor. If I understand you correctly, you are wanting to edit and save pedal settings in a Preset. Is that correct? If so, the key commands that I provided to you bring up the pedal settings window. If you are using a Mustang Floor product, you will see the built-in pedal settings on the left hand side of the window, and the EXP-1 settings on the right. Once you have completed adjustments in this window, be sure to save the Preset. Then you should be set. Thanks.

Best Regards,

Alan

I use the Mustang floorboard. What I want to see (as in some of the other factory presets) is the vol/exp pedal in the graphic representation of the amps. To be clear, some pre sets show a vol/exp-pedal that you can see and click on. I am NOT talking about stomp box effects pedals but a picture of a VOLUME pedal. What do I do to bring up the graphical representation of a VOLUME pedal. Just tell me how i make the pedal visible in any patch I create. That's it and that's all I want to know.

Hi Raymond Bruce Hansel,

You will want to use the same Pedal settings window I have been referring to. Once you assign the Expression behavior to the desired effect, the pedal icon should be visible 'graphically' on that effect in the Preset Editor in Fender® FUSE™.

Best Regards,

Alan
