Dear Matt,

Thanks for your inquiry. Please try link located below, I've also included instructions to help you get started. Please review and let me know if you continue to experience issues.

To access Amplitube - Amplitube Free + Custom Shop software, follow the steps below.

Go to http://www.ikmultimedia.com/static.php? ... ge-support

Click on "Authorization Manager" and download and install this application.
Once the Authorization manager is installed, launch the application and follow the prompts to register AmpliTube.
Follow the promts in the Authorization Manager. Once you have logged in there and registered your software serial, you will see your available downloads from within the Authorization Manager window. Select "AmpliTube Fender LE/SE (LE or SE will appear depending on the version you are eligible for).
Download and install the software.
Once you have installed the software, launch the application. You will be prompted to Authorize on your computer. Please follow the prompts to Authorize for your computer.

Thanks,

Thanks for that. Managed to download it but Amplitube isn't recognizing my Mustang iii amp

Is it not just a case of plugging the amp into the laptop via usb so it can be recognized as an audio interface?

cheers

Hi matt4500,

I'm glad to see that you were able to get the application installed. In regard to getting the amp connected to your (I assume) PC, if you have not yet, you will want to grab the Fender® Universal ASIO driver for PC. I have included a support link below here that goes through the ASIO driver/audio interface setup for PC. There is also a video link at the bottom of the support page. I would suggest that you go through this document in its entirety. And of course, if you still find that you are having issues getting the amp connected, please contact us via email or phone directly. Then we can go from there. Thanks.

Best Regards,

Alan
