I have some stereo effects that were programmed into my Mustang 2 using Fender Fuse. I can hear the stereo effects using headphones connected to the the amp, but if I record something with these effects through the USB port, the effect is folded down to mono (though I am recording a stereo audio file). I am using a Windows 7 64-bit computer. What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance for any helpful responses!

What are you using for recording software on your PC?
Can you see any stereo effect in the Windows control panel? (I don't know what it should look like exactly, I'm a Mac and Ubuntu user.)

Hi jdmack,

I would second the direction that John L Rose is headed in. The USB output on your amp should be outputting stereo effects in stereo. You may want to double check your DAW (recording software) to ensure that the input and or playback channels on your 'mixer' are panned or in stereo. Some DAWs offer joined stereo tracks/channels. And some offer individual mono tracks that can be linked or otherwise connected to form a stereo pair.

If you are still having some troubles with this once you have checked this out, please feel free to contact us directly for additional assistance.

Best Regards,

Alan
