Post subject: downloading presets

hi everyone, I forgot how to download a preset from the mustang preset pages to my computer. what happens is, I click on a download, send it to my desktop however the file that appears is some weird thing that can not be opened. i'm sure i'm missing a step. could someone help me out please?

Dear joeypinter55,

Thanks for your inquiry. In order to copy a Preset from your Amp to your Computer please follow the following steps. When Fender® FUSE™ is launched\select MEDIA LIBRARY\select "Amp" from the menu in the middle of page above the presets\right click mouse on the preset you want loaded from Amp to Computer\select "Get Preset From Amp"\select "Computer" from same menu, scroll down and find preset. I have included links for screenshots to help you.

hi Stephen, thanks for getting back to me however, those links don't work. maybe if you tell me where in the fuse manual the instructions for downloading presets are I can figure it out.

hey dude if the file is on your desktop just go to my docs look for the fender folder then the fuse folder then presets folder drag that file from you desktop in to the presets folder start fuse up and go to media library click computer it will be in the list just make sure you remember what the file was called
