Hi

The only way I have come up with to rearrange the order for presets on the Mustang III using Fuse is to click on the drop down menu that lists the current presets as they are on the Mustang III. Open a preset eg 00 Intro Clean. Click on Save and save it to the new location. This will overwrite the preset in the destination no. but I figure if I use one of the last ten or so presets like 88 Basic '57 Champ to park various presets while I am moving them around that should work. Seems very tedious. Anyone come up with something more efficient?

Thanks

Micvk

Dear micklamm,

Thanks for your inquiry. The method you described is the correct manner to rearrange Preset locations. I don't necessarily know if this will make it less tedious for you or not but you may want to consider the following option. Rearranging several presets in a manner that you choose and select Backup.

This way you can create several configurations of rearranged presets, "Backup", give them a name to describe what they are and whenever you're ready for a particular backed up configuration select "Restore". This will put one of the prearranged presets at your disposal. I hope you might find this helpful. Please let us know if we can assist your further.

Thanks,

Steven,

G'day micklamm,

Must admit I'm new to FUSE use, but could it be as simple as renaming the presets in a backup folder ie changing the amp location numbers, and downloading the newly named files to the amp ??

Regards, Ross

if you really want to manually edit the preset names for reordering you have to edit content of the .fuse file as well (which is a regular XML file):
Code:
<FUSE>
<Info name="No_NewName">
</FUSE>
which is quite unhandy,

or maybe you just want to give this a try:
