A question on associating songs with presets in FUSE and Mustang 2... From what I read in the manual I understand that a preset can be 'attached' to a song (or songs) but can a song be attached to a preset? What I would like to do is to be able to dial up a song and the song will load the appropriate preset in the Mustang.
Yes, I have the amp connected to the computer via USB. :)

Thanks

Dear Mint Green,

Thanks for your inquiry. The Fender® FUSE™ manual that you are using is for both the G-DEC®3 and the Fender® MUSTANG™ Amps. The question you posed is only applicable for the G-DEC and not the Mustang. I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

Regards,

Steven,

G'day Mint Green,

Mustang3 v2 latest FUSE 2.7.1. I can call up a song name preset from the search window. I "save preset as...(name of song) which results in the preset being saved in the PC with the song name, nothing is lost, the original preset is unaltered and available for association with other songs. (I have several Shadows instrumentals all using the same original preset). Of course the "new preset can be modded and it won't affect the original. Put the song name in search window, select one or all preset location/s and select GO. the song, and others which may have same word/s, is displayed. Double left button click and the selection goes to the preset window and connected amp. All other functions as normal. Genre can be handled similarly.

Hope this helps, Ross

Dear Mint Green,

Thanks for you reply. I apologize for the misunderstanding, I thought you were asking about the renaming of presets associated with songs that are loaded into the Amp, a feature that is available in the G-DEC® 3 series of Amps.
