Hello guys ! Happy to be part of Fender community.

I've been and still exploring the default presets of the Fender Mustang II,
I found this amazing preset; F Beauty Clean and it feels wonderful when you play some rock pink-floyd style licks !!!

I've just plugged some B minor pentatonic and Dorian and felt like Gilmore :D :D :D

what do you guys think about this preset and do/can u recommend something else ?

Hi Rajahz

I’ve got a handful of presets I’ve uploaded that are Gilmour/Floyd inspired. Still haven’t had any luck getting the Big Fuzz to do what I want to for the ‘Animals’ or ‘The Wall’ era of his playing I’m always on the lookout. Hoping intheblues takes a stab at it. Its always great to see what he comes up with and would love to see how close he can come.

Here’s my take on the ‘Shine on…’ tone

https://fuse.fender.com/mustangv2/prese ... -2nd-solo/

lately I’ve been digging his current ‘Black Strat’ tones so wanted to try to get the tone from ‘On an Island’. Its about as close as I was able to get.

https://fuse.fender.com/mustangv2/prese ... land-fuzz/

This one resembles the tone on the ‘Money’ solo. Still chasing the Dark Side of the Moon era Fuzz tones and really hope Fender adds a Fuzz Face model on the amp. The standard fuzz is modeled after an Octavia I believe and works ok but would love to have a fuzz face option.

https://fuse.fender.com/mustangv2/prese ... ey-preset/

anyway… hope you enjoy. I use these presets with the master volume around 4-5 which is where i find the sweet spot to start on the Mustang II.

Downloads are greyed out, or am I just screwing up as usual?

Thank you very much captain ! I'll try them all out.

@boilerroom - Make sure you are logged in when you try to download the presets, it does not share the forums' account.

If they already exist on my drive, will they be greyed out? Thanks.

I doubt it has anything to do with that.

Is it like that for all presets you try to download ? If not, try using search and manually find captainc's presets.

It was greyed out for me but as soon as I logged to FUSE account it worked out.

Jeez I hope you don’t find the Floyd presets to be pure crap after all the trouble you’re having to go through. :D

Good luck

Still trying to learn to use the whole deal I have here Cap. I am logged into every friggin thing, mustang connected, and I am typing here, so I have to be logged in here. Interested in seeing preset info at least to gauge what is in it to a familiar sound and groove, thanks, I will let you know if I ever get em down loaded.
