So I just got a Fender Mustang V Amp. I am loving it so far. I am about to upload a preset which I downloaded from the fender community. Is it possible to upload it without overwriting the original presets?

Hi keetgames,

Thanks for your post here. In order to save a new Preset to a specific location on your amp, you will have to overwrite the Preset that is currently in that location. There are a couple of options you can employ here.

You can relocate the Preset that is in the current location to another location by using the Fender® FUSE™ Media Library, and accessing the "Amp" tab (center row of tabs) and right clicking (control clicking for Mac OS) on the Preset title there. You will see a list pop up. In the list, select "Get Preset from amp". Then you should see the Preset you copied from the amp show up in the Computer list next to the Amp list. This way, you can get as many of the Presets from your amp as you like and bring them to your computer.

Another option would be to perform a Backup of your amp in Fender FUSE using the Backup option (Main Menu/Utilities/Backup). Then, you can save multiple versions of your amp data and restore this data using the same Utilities menu and selecting Restore.

I hope this is helpful. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan
