Hi HybridChoky,

I have brought this to the attention of the appropriate folks here at HQ. This is, of course not available at this time. But, it is something that we may consider. If it is decided that we will add this feature/function to the site, we will make an announcement on the Forum.

Best Regards,

Alan

Hi HybridChoky,

Thanks for your follow up here. We do not have any further information on this at this time. If and when Preset content from the Fender® FUSE™ Community site is made available as a single download, we will definitely announce it and make links known and available. In the mean time, please let us know if we can assist with anything else.

Best Regards,

Alan

- Translation from "Admin/Mod speak" into plain English = "No,suggestion denied" -

Giving every customer $1000, painting a big reverse F on the moon, or making an amp that runs on gasoline are also things that Fender may consider. Even if they don't consider something, the statement always holds true. This is known as "nullspeak".

EDIT: ALL my problems with Fender gear have been COMPLETELY amended,I take back everything I said, their customer service is amazing.

Well forgiiiiiiiiive me if I sounded oh-so-harsh previously but let me just tell you my Fender experience, see if you see a customer service pattern forming here:

-Bought Mustang IV when they came out years ago, contacted them talking about fizz issues, reply I received was basicly "That's how they are, nothing we can do about it" A.K.A. "Too bad you got a lemon, you should have bought a different amp I guess, you're stuck with it now chump". Current status: Fizzy amp that firmware doesn't fix.

-Bought Modern Player V Jazz Bass V string,at one point I did a string bend on high G and the lower portion of the string-tree below the screw retainer broke and flew off and hit my dog, luckily not in the eye. Again, contacted customer service about construction issues, was told that admitedly the string-tree on this model was flimsy and they would send me the two piece Hipshot string-tree that is found on the Marcus Miller Jazz Bass V,at the time though was good customer service, but, that was in March(FIVE months ago),still no piece arrived and every time I contact them about it I get the typical "Ah yes,we haven't forgotton about you,we will ask for the piece right away",oh really? How many times do you ask for a piece in FIVE months. Current status: Still no replacement,G string has no string-tree,and confident I am not going to see this bass ever complete again unless I do it myself.

-Bought Fender Bronco 40,tried to install Fuse to get more out of it,got the typical "Loading Please Wait..." message that you see all over internet forums, wrote to Fender for help. No reply in 4 days,so I reverse engineered it and fixed it MYSELF(silverlight problem,a CRAPPY platform to design software on to begin with) and then I wrote again and told THEM how to fix it,oooooh wonder of wonders I get a reply when I'm helping you out("Thank you,we will pass this on."),but not a word when I needed some help. Current status: Fixed myself, out of frustration.

-Bought Ron Emory Loyalty dreadnought, had a neck problem that could potencially lead to cracked neck joint if the temperature changed violently and also had some hairs under the finish on the neck, took it back to shop and was told "Yeah we will order another for you(the shop, not Fender) because Fender won't recognise those problems as flaws if you contact them,we've tried before." Current status: Got a replacement thanks to local shop.

So YEAH,forgive me if I sound harsh or untrusting while I sit here with my fizzy amp and missing string-tree,you are all probably as happy as Larry with your American Fender customer service, but here in Spain, the Fender Spain customer service we get is absolutely atrocious,to the point that I have the feeling that if I ever find anyone in Spain who claims that Fender Spain fixed/replaced their fizzy amp or replace their string-tree,that they are an employee of Fender or just flat out lying...

"But HybridChoky, surely customer service outside of the US of A is the same for all companies" WRONG,Yamaha THR10 amp, ground loop issues, contacted them and received a working power supply that fixed it within 5 days. Burns Steer Guitar, slight warped neck(twist),received replacement and set-up in under a month,pick-up and shipping payed by them and guitarcase included. Alesis Mastercontrol driver issues, received reply and working drivers within two weeks,Digitech multieffects, their sound drivers were not compatible with WinXP at the time, received working update within the week...you see a pattern forming here yet?

Yet I still continue to buy Fender products...forget about a 19megabyte download of presets,if anything I deserve a frikkin' gold plated medal of loyalty and patience...either that or a "run-of-the-mill gullible Fender-follower of the decade" award.

Yeah I'm a loser that can't afford Fenders top-end expensive range and have to pay for most my gear in installments,so obviously I'm not getting top-of-the-line models, but I still deserve the customer service that the brand name should be held to. They are a MULTIMILLION dollar company and they couldn't even replace my stinking string-tree much less their flawed guitar amp.

If you're a professional musician, (many have that as their level of expertise) after zoning in on a few presets you enjoy using, why not customize them to fit your playing style. You must be familiar with pedals, and how you like your tone by now eh? If you are a professional recording artist, or a gigging artist, you already know, there's no need to have even 30 different tones. Unless you do covers only. When I was gigging, I honestly used maybe 6 different types of tones during our sets. Mostly used 2 or 3. I know there are exceptions, but 60,000 to seriously check out? How many are similar repeats? And is some super special tone going to slip by, forever holding you back?? :?

I know it's been a while but would like to get back to this thread just to say that every single problem I mentioned with customer service has been absolutely 100% fixed or is in the process of fixing.
I would like to change my previous statement to: Fender has absolutely AMAZING customer service.

P.S. Thank you Alan for all your help, patience and attention,my faith has been completely restored in F.M.I.C.
