This is really good now for setting up your presets and saving them. I'm on Fender Mustang iii v2 and windows, and with Sachas patience and a little input from me he's produced a very useful utility for us all.
Thanks for the work and the sharing Sacha.

Thanks for taking the time (and your knowledge) to do this!

Now, dumb as I am, is there something like a tutorial or mini steps guide in order to use it properly? Will it modify anything on mustang´s fuse?

By the way, mine is a mustang I v1, I didn´t see it in the list of applicable amps. Will this work on mine?

Thanks again!

Sabas.

Hello Sabas,
- the new version 0.4.6 should work just fine with your amp.
- it will not modify fuse in any way

there is no tutorial, but basicly you
- create a backup in fuse,
- edit this backup (or a "clone" of it) in re-fuse by exchanging and rearranging presets,
- in fuse, patch/restore the modified backup back to your amp

regards,
SenorUke

I downloaded the app and used it with a Mustang IV - v1 ,and it works great. A very easy to use interface for re-shuffling or organizing presets. I play in a small contemporary christian group, and it seems I almost have a different preset for every song - depending on mood of the song, guitar, etc.

I'm using Windows. The only thing I don't understand is the "effects" radio button. What is that supposed to do?

Thanks

Hello Nbw2,
on some amps you can re-arrange the FX too, but not on the mustang IV I think,
I could verify that if you send me a backup,

If this is still being maintained, I would like to second the request to have # at the top of each color bank and A at the bottom, just like it is on the amp selector.

Also, I must be dumb because I can't figure out how to move a preset from the right (library preset) to the left (backup preset). Dragging doesn't work, clicking on the double-sided arrow between the columns doesn't work, right click or double-click on the preset name doesn't work. What am I missing?

so I tried using this today again and the saved backup is there in Windows Explorer, but not seen by Fuse when I use the restorefunction (is see other backups, such as the one I just made before cloning it)
What am I doing wrong?

Mustang IIIv2 firmware 2.2
Windows 7
re-fuse version 4.7

I'm going to try and make a new backup and edit it directly without cloning it to see if that works.
EDIT: that didn't work. Then I deleted all backups, made a new one, edited it a little bit at a time (swapped 2 of the presets, tested it, then added a preset from the library, tested it). seems to work now. about to go make "real" changes since I want to rearrange everything and add a dozen new presets.

nope, once I was done making changes, the edited backup won't show up in the Restore list.
What a pain in the ... that measn my backup is now corrupted and I need to start over. Looks like I need to make a few changes at a time, give it a try, save the last known good configuration, till either I figure out the problem or get all my changes made.

I'll let you know if I figure out the problem

Hello papaschtroumpf,
unfortunately I have no intention to support this project any further. it works fine for me and that´s it.
best would be to ask fender to implement such features into fuse. good luck.

SenorUke,

First of all, thank you for writing this application. Is this project open source or could you make it open source? It's not working for me, and I really want to find out why, because I'd love to be able to use it.

hello mattshank,
i don´t maintain this project any longer.

the way everybody would benefit:
Let Fender improve Fuse and do their homework. Although that´s probably never going to happen.
