I just bought a Mustang Floor, and so far am pretty happy with it. Finally a modeller that invests as much time on good clean tones as distorted. The output routing is excellent, too, and it is the first modelling floorboard I've used that seems to actually have been designed by guitar players who play live on stage in front of real living breathing paying human beings.

However, am I right - some of the V2 models from the III and IV are missing from the floor? There's no 57 Twin, for example, and it looks like a stompbox or two is missing. The 57 Twin hurts though, as it is one of my favorite amps. I can use a 2x12 with the Bassman, but that doesn't make it a low power twin; there are major circuit differences between those two.

I'm not sure how this works - is it possible that at some point there will be a firmware upgrade which will add these amps to the floor? Is this likely, or am I just SOL? Some of the good patches don't work, or don't work well, without the missing models.

The Floor is considered a V1 product, although it got the Studio preamp which is v2. I suppose the FLoor is v1.5. I haven't heard of a way to get those models in the Floor, which is a shame.

Well, thank you. This is disappointing, and surprising. I didn't think any V1 devices would be sold or manufactured anymore. I should have checked the models instead of assuming it covered the same ground as the III/IV v2.

On the other hand, I am getting some good sounds out of it.
