Does the Mustang V have enough power to sound good running a standard stereo 4x12?

I have a 400Watt Peavey half stack that can run 8Ohm/side, just wondering if anyone has tried a V into a Peavey or Marshall cab?

Hi Top-L,

Thanks for your inquiry. I think that you will find that the 150 watts of power provided in the Fender® Mustang™ V head and the companion Fender 4X12 stereo cabinet will provide ample output and volume for most needs. If you can, we would urge you to listen to one in person. This way, you could better determine if this set up will meet your needs.

Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Alan
