Hi Guys

Turned up for band practice tonight afterrestoring and renumbering my presets (changing the number in the backup /preset folder and when I got to practice only 00 and 01 presets worked everything else was silent! It worked fine yesterday when I changed presets and imported new ones etc. I just logged into Fuse and tried to restore again from three different backups and everything works when Fuse is connected but as soon as I boot down my laptop and switch amp off and on again everything is silent apart from 00 and 01! The only way I get more than the two presets is if Fuse is connected and I restore again.

Update: I've narrowed it down and realised that all the presets work without the EXP-1 attached but when I plug this in the presets don't work again (apart from 00 and 01) I did restore with the four button and EXP-1 attached...the presets all work with the four button switch attached.

Any ideas why the exp-1 is causing this now anyone (going to try and re calibrate the exp-1 and will report back)?

Thanks
Steve

I'd start by doing a factory reset. Turn amp off, hold down exit button and turn amp on.

If you do that and problem goes away there may be something a muck with your backup files. I do backups and restores fairly frequently without issue

Good luck

Thanks Captain, I've now realised the exp-1 is set to silent on the heel position and it seem to be activated for patches that I had not even activated it for even though EXP mode is OFF...at least all my patches are working.

Any ideas why the exp-1 is assigned to patches suddenly for volume when the exp-1 was is not even set to ON for a patch? Going to try a recalibration now...

Hi Strings

I renumbered the first two digits of my presets in the backup folder to rearrange the order of the patches and then restored so I can have the presets in any order I please.

All my presets are working now and the four switch pedal works but somehow a lot of the patches are only working when the EXP-1 pedal is in expression mode (red light) or if the foot switch is in the heel position. However, the EXP-1 is not even set to ON for these presets. Is there a global setting that may need changing, not sure why the EXP-1 has suddenly started affecting my presets! I did a factory reset and recalibrated the exp-1 but still the EXP-1 is stopping most of my presets from sounding unless I click to expression mode ormove to heel position.

Cheers
Hayz

Hehe. OK sorted it. Somehow my EXP-1 settings needed to be reset to how I had them. I'm not sure if it was my messing with the renumbering of my presets or the restore that caused this problem but all back to normal, I think.

When you restore should all pedals be disconnected? maybe this is why it changed the pedal settings?

Thanks guys! :)

Hi again.

There as 12 amps types in the menu; Fender 57 Deluxe, Fender59 Bassman,
57 Champ, 65 Deluxe Reverb, 65 Princeton etc

How to crate new amplifier type or download a new type ?

Thaks again.

Hi tadeuhb,

In the Fender® FUSE™ software, with the Preset Editor window open, you can click on the arrow next to the text field that says Amp: Then you should see the available amp list and be able to select from there. Please let us know if we assist further.

Best Regards,
