I just bought a new Champ X2 and installed the Fuse software on my laptop.
I am playing with a custom built Telecaster that is running Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahue bridge and the STK-T1n at the neck. It is currently getting a new maple Mighty Mite neck installed with new Schaler tuners and the early 90's Squier body has been copper shielded with all new electrical components installed. I have owned this guitar since it was new. It was originally a stock Squier. I have played it through several solid state amps but could never get the twang sound I was looking for. Now that I have a tube amp in the Champ X2 how do I maximize the twang effect with the Fuse software?

Tele twang isn't caused by the amp, but the guitar and playing:
1: Pick really close to the saddles.
2: A slanted bridge pickup emphasizes treble.
3: The special Tele capacitor that reduces midrange.

If your twang is reduced by the Mustang amp, try adjusting up the treble, and remove any pseudo pedals in FUSE that might affect the tone.

Thanks for the info.......I've been playing on and off for most of my life with no formal training and just decided a while back I was going to build the guitar that would be the "be all end all" for me that would sound so good when I played it I couldn't put it down. I just never had any info about how to get the twang out of a tele/amp set up and this will help tremendously. I've been studying a lot of the You Tube info and lessons as well. Dario Cortes has a lot of good info and lessons on there.........

Some of the built-in presets are a tad mid-heavy, presumably for rock artists to better cut through.
You may look for the more "clean" settings, with as few extra "pseudo pedals" as possible.
