Trying to figure out how to use this software. Its not obvious or intuitive as software goes. I have watched the tutorials and find them 'lacking'.

Is there a link that can list or show what you can 'DO' with the software. Meaning, what it is good for?

Presets I get can be downloaded. This I have done successfully, although I havent gotten them to save onto the amp yet. I dont always (rarely) play next to a computer so this is important. But this I will figure out.

'Band' files can be downloaded. This I have done. But when I try to play them they play through the computer not the amp. And can I save these onto the amp so I can loop and practice with them without being connected to a computer?

What else would someone want to do with the software, besides changing settings (which I can do just as easily on the amp itself and certainly prefer that over a computer interface - unless I am missing something). And playing along side a track importated via wave (but again this plays through the computer while I am playing through the amp so not all that great to listen to).

The tuner worked.

But is there a simple cheat sheet of what users most often DO with the software, in a form without all the mumbo jumbo of learning another language. I mean 'DO' in terms of usefulness... of course it can tweak all the knobs on the amp. Why would I want to do this vs just turning them by hand??

I think Im really missing something ......

FUSE does have a learning curve. Depending on your amp, you can often adjust some parameters easier in FUSE than at the amp itself under the Advance Amp tab. Many of the effects I find much easier to adjust in FUSE as well.

FUSE is the interface for sharing presets with the Fender community as well as importing preseets. I have only shared one my presets, but have imported dozens.

Perhaps most importantly, it is the ability to back up and save presets if anyone else uses your amp and adjusts things to their taste and then presses the red button, you can restore your presets. Same is true if you find the need to perform a factory reset you can now reimport presets rather than recreating.

I had had a modeling amp made by another company that lacked the interface. Without the interface the thing was pretty useless. Having FUSE for my Mustang makes it the most usable amp I have owned.

Not a complete list of benefits, but here are my ideas.
