Hello. My first post. I'm going to enjoy the Mustang III that I just acquired, and I'm sure it will take a while for me to master all it's features.

Problem: When saving a Band Track (after right-clicking on the track), the status bar on the lower left indicates that the track is downloading, however, the status bar stays white (no progress indication) - and the track does not download.

The following information applies:

a) Windows 7 Home Premium
b) Making sure I'm online and logged into Fuse
c) Can download presets and save them to the amp with no problem
d) Search on the filename, but file not found
e) Attempted to download other tracks but with same result
f) Tried a few times to let the file download for 15 minutes without success (status bar not changing)
g) Performed a search here (and in other forums) but cannot find a similar post to my specific problem
h) Uninstalled and re-installed Fuse
i) Future search terms/keywords: band track wav file will not download, sticks, freezes,

Many Thanks for your help.

Dear Unique23b,

Thanks for your inquiry. If you are seeing the download happening its's just possible you may not be looking in the correct location for where they loaded. Once the download has completed go to the following path to verify if it has loaded.

Libraries\My Documents\Fender\FUSE\Audio\WaveMP3

There you should be able to locate the downloaded Band tracks. Please check these things out, and let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Thanks Tech,

I appreciate your feedback, however, the "band" files do not show up anywhere on my computer (trust me on that, pls).

I would assume there would be a "progress" bar indicating how much of the file is downloaded.

In my instance, the progress bar never shows any progress - only a white background.

See screen cap below.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Are you logged on to the computer with a user account which is a member of the 'Administrators' group?

Hi Unique23b,

We have just checked the Band Track you are referencing to here. And we are not seeing issues with it in terms of downloading inside Fender® FUSE™. We tested the direct Community interface as well as the Media Library functions. You may want to try logging on directly in your web browser and downloading that way to confirm that you can download the file from your browser.

If you are having troubles with downloading in your web browser, then you will likely need to clear data and/or do a Reset of your browser. This would refer to Internet Explorer on Windows and Safari on Mac, as they are the browsers used by Fender FUSE. Please check these items out, and let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the idea Strings, but, yes, I'm logged in as a member of the Administrator group on this computer.

Thanks again for the attention.

Unfortunately, after updating flash player and re-installing IE 11 (I had removed IE from my laptop some time ago) and setting IE as my default browser, I still cannot download the band tracks (either from Fuse or directly from fender.com using IE 11.

I'm convinced it's something to do with a global setting (or the like) on my laptop somehow - and that, I do not know what it is.

When I click on "download" (in IE 11 browser), nothing happens.

I have no problem downloading files on other websites.

I'll keep trying different things, but any other ideas from tech (or anyone else) would be greatly appreciated.

Unique23b, when I go to the Fuse Band Tracks on the website, the Download button is unavailable (can't be clicked) until I log in to the website. Is that the problem you're having?
