first of all it would be helpful if you could start using some punctuation because it is really hard to read sentences that go on and on and on and on and on and when it is too hard for people to read and analyze what you are saying they may not feel inclined to answer your questions or even figure out what the questions are because it is too much work but with that said the questions themselves are not all that easy to answer either or rather the first one isn't because what do you mean by Van Halen sound when he has so many different sounds and they do not sound much alike at all so it is really difficult to answer although he does tend to always use an overdrive of some sort but apart from that it depends on the song like for example he may use a wah on one song and a flanger on another and it is perhaps the flanger he is the most famous for although it is only used on a very few tunes but to answer your other question there is likely no easter eggs in the fuse software because it isn't really an application written from scratch but more pieced together using toolkits and likely is a third party contract job and not an inhouse job and for contract jobs there are seldom easter eggs or other frivolity because the development company does not want to risk upsetting the customer and also looking at the strings in the application data there does not appear to be any text that points towards hidden functionality I hope this was helpful have a nice holiday and happy new year too

Its helpful to some degree however. I've researched google and other sites. I have seen lots of information on van halen tone and sound settings. what is getting me confused it the effects that are in the fender mustang 1 v.2 and what is being shown on the web.90% of the time they are way different take the flanger. for instance speed width manual regen those are not shown in the effects area. how do you define what is correct? happy holidays to you and your family.

I do wish you could use more than one modulation at a time seems the software just to allow one modulation the same with the post gain also the stomp box's we'll have to wait for another software fix for this

hey, I still have to check out your preset ... hopefully tonight.

I think you'd get a lot more responses if you post this kind of question in the 'Fender Mustang' section of the forums. Yes, FUSE is used to create Mustang presets, but FUSE is also for several other amps, for Mustang-specific help, post here: viewforum.php?f=27
