I've noticed this happen more then once. Someone taking another persons preset and uploading it with the same tags and description even pretty much the same name. As if to take credit for something they didn't do.

here's mine
https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets ... ot-vox-o.d

and here's the copy posted the very next day lol
https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/presets ... mment_form

Another preset I can think of off the top of my head that it happened to was heretic upon the throne originally made by Hawks Man re-uploaded by AXIS2267

report it to Fender, they should remove it if the other user does not comply with your request to remove the fraudulent copy. This has happened to me several times on the fUSE site, and Fender has always removed the fakes after I brought it to their attention

This has happened on two of my presets. I downloaded one in hopes there was a change or improvement but was exactly the same

My 57 twin Pink Floyd money patch. I don't really care all that much. Maybe it was by mistake but maybe I will conatact fender. No sense in having two with the same exact description explaining my goof in uploading the empty studio amp by mistake.

I understand, it has actually happened to me several times, a few I didn't bother reporting, The ones I reported were when somebody uploaded my presets that use my name, KREATURE. that is when I feel it has to be taken down, there can only be one Kreature with a K and that is me for the last 25 years

Yeah that's just lame. I think the two in my case were accidental where new fuse users were learning. It'd also be great to be able to log in on the fuse site and manage your presets. Of all the presets I've uploaded , I'd like to delete about 2/3. Some are good but the rest are when I was learning the amp and are shite

My new HiWatt preset is not. I'm in my glory right now.

yeah it would be nice if you were able to manage your own patches directly from the site, maybe Fender will hear us and make that an option,

I think many of these are accidental, and due to a certain lack of user friendliness in the design of FUSE.
Upload ... to the amp? Or to the web site?
Save... to your computer? Or to the amp? Or to the web site?
And when uploading to the web site, is there a local storage for each user (typical cloud functionality), or does everything become public?
Sure, users can figure it out, but not everyone are tech-savvy. And the FUSE UI is a poster child for bad UI design, with part skeuomorphism, part object orientation and part function orientation, and worst of all, mode switches where what happens depends on the mode you're in.

some may be accidental, some are no accident, I find the site and the Fuse software extremely easy to navigate, I don't see what is so bad about the UI, It's all written in plain English

I completely agree with this I found fuse extremely easy to use it took me maybe 20mins at most. Some of these doubles might of been uploaded by accident but I think most of them were not. I think people my do it so they can get more downloads or something along those lines.

Fer Fook sake i just found another one of my presets uploaded with same title, different user.

at least change the friggin name.

Oh wait... he added a pre-gain compressor, oh but its not even turned on so its precisely the same right down to the Parameters on the Time based effects.

captainc, the new version just sounds 'punchier'

 j/k people are ridiculous. Sounds like a case where an inexperienced user made no change but thought they did and also though it sounded better.

Really tho like I re-uploaded the first default preset liquid solo but I edited the amps parameters, sag, bias and I'm pretty sure even the cab. I know for sure all the effects were changed and I renamed it to "my liquid solo". I don't think there's anything wrong with using a preset as a starting point but don't upload it as the exact same preset.
and just adding a compressor don't count
