Just wondering if the Fuse team has discovered any issues between the new release of 10.9 (Mavericks) and Fuse.

I might do a time machine backup today and try it out. I'm curious as well.

Time Machine Backup complete

Downloading OS10.9 now. WiFi here is pretty slow so not sure I’ll get this installed and tested today.

 Wireless must have dropped out sometime last night… my corp computer is windows 7 and I can’t seem to download it with that as a separate DMG so stuck using my macbook pro. I think I’ve got it going again but if I don’t see any progress I might do some dosey doe with the hardline. Sorry for the delay… in know we’re all anxiously awaiting some feedback on this.

Install in progress. I’ll report back when complete and have putzed around with it.

Update Complete, here are the early results:

-Fuse still opens without issue though I don’t have my mustang here to test connection to the amp. I’d guess that if it opens it connects but will try to confirm tonight.
-Both my Amplitube 3 and the Amplitube Fender SE still open without issue.
-Ableton Live 8 might be broken, it opens but with an error that it can no longer connect to the rewire service. I really don’t give a crap about Ableton so not going to fuss with it.
-Audacity opens

Things you may or may not care about:

Unfortunately the upgrade broke my Protools 9 HD software. Not a huge huge concern since I don’t use it a whole lot anymore now that I’m not recording with the fellers but it is a bit of a bummer. I guess I’ll be using Garage Band for recording. Still keep in touch with the Keyboard dude so if we try to keep the flame burning, I’ll hopefully have a means to do so.

Final Cut Pro 7 still opens and seems to work fine

Other than that it’s a Mac OS, what can you say. I’ll play around with it to see what’s new but there you go… Fuse will still open… at least for me.

Edit:

The update did fix my issue with fuse loading presets into the media library from the web and being able to delete. So that’s a bonus.

Just confirmed connection to amp. I'd say say its safe to update to OSX10.9 as far as Fuse is concerned

Excellent report cap'n, thanks for doing this! I've taken the plunge as well (running 10.9) and hope to put Fuse through its paces tonight. Hope to. Sometimes life can get in the way. ;)

Hey look, it's only two....days later. ;)

Alright, had a chance to fire up FUSE and put it through a few paces. The short version: Not a single problem, in fact, this is the first time (for me) that I have been able to make and save changes without issues!

What I can report on:

-Launching, syncing to FUSE successfully

-Ran backup successfully
-Restored a backup (from 6 months previous)
-Restored to backup made today

-Logged successfully into community
-Downloaded and saved a new preset
-Imported new preset, saved successfully
-Imported new band track from SD card, saved to the new preset slot
-Played with changes to preset, saved

I didn't go any deeper than that as I got sidetracked into playing. (Nothing wrong with having fun!)

So far, a big thumbs up from me! :D

Hi Guys,

We have tested and are continuing to test Fender® FUSE™ with Mavericks. So far, we are not seeing any issues. Please let us know if anyone encounters anything unusual. And we will be happy to troubleshoot on our end.

Best Regards,

Hi Alex,

We would suggest that you follow (step by step) the troubleshooting steps in the linked support PDF, checking to see if each step has corrected the behavior. If you arrive at the end of the document and have not had luck, please gather the requested log files, and send them in. We will review them and follow up with you accordingly. Thanks much.

Best Regards,
