Hi, SpaceAge... I DID make two patches trying to obtain an acoustic-like sound, and they sound acceptable, but they´re not what I´m looking for. And my point is that many other brands offer one in their modelers, so I think that it could be included in FUSE. I am aware as well that Fender can very well tell me to buy any of the modelers offered by the other brands if the aco sim is that important to me; I´m just not a guy who can buy any modeler any time; actually, I bought my Mustang after carefully saving, and we venezuelans have serious limitations regarding foreign currency use (and that is a long story not intended to be discussed in this thread :? )

Even so, I think that´s what I´m going to do as soon as I can, I´m going to get one of the other modelers that have what I need -and that means selling the Mustang, as there´s no other way I can get the other one-.

Sorry for the long talk...

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to chime in here and offer that if any of you participating in this discussion are Fender® Mustang™ V2 users, we include the Studio Preamp model in the V2 product range. It is intended to be a neutral, clean model and does work well for use with acoustic guitars.

Best Regards,

Alan

Hi, Alan. I do appreciate you being there all this time. Thanks for your suggestion, but I don´t want to use an acoustic guitar with the Mustang, I want is my electric guitar to sound like an acoustic. I know some folks don´t like aco sims -they prefer a real acoustic- but I like them, and most of all, I´d like using just one guitar for what I want to do.

In the long run, it is most likely I will be getting another brand modeler that has what I need. Sadly, the Mustang will have to go, as I can´t afford to have two modelers.

As for me, I will stop asking (begging, actually) for the acoustic sim for the Mustang series from now on. No hard feelings, though... 8)

Again, thanks for being there, Alan.

Sabas

Hello, we are not actually looking for sounds for an acoustic, but for an acoustic emulator for electric guitars!

in the search box I found these 10 pre-sets by putting the word "acoustic" in the download presets section ... are you saying that none of them are close to what you are looking for ... or ...?

Hi, Space... I did that search too -time ago, and every now and then-. I appreciate your help. Yes, I have tried them before. I liked one, but not for it sounding like an acoustic -and certainly NEVER sounding like a 12 string guitar- , I liked it for resulting in a good clean electric sound. none of them sound like an acoustic.

So, answering your question: no, none of them sound close to what I´m looking for. They give you a good -very good, I must say- clean sound of your electric guitar*, but not an acoustic sound. That´s what aco sims are for.

Again, thanks for having some interest on this point and for sharing some of your time on this. 8)

Sabas.

* My electric guitar is a strat type one; I don´t know if a hollow body electric will sound different, more acoustic. But at least with the one (and only) I have, those presets don´t sound like I want.
