Hi sabasgr68,

Thanks very much for your input and ideas here once again. We really do appreciate it. Unfortunately, we here in the Technology Support Lab are not the people who make these decisions. However, we have passed this idea along to the appropriate folks here at Fender. And we will continue to pass along your interest in seeing this feature added to the Fender® Mustang™ product line. Happy Holidays.

Best Regards,

Hi! I´m still here, hoping to see this feature soon on Mustangs.... Just check out Peavey´s Vypyr VIP 1 for example, not only it offers accoustic simulation, but bass simulation as well, and others (for example, 12 string sim)...

Fender, you can do it.. Come on, surprise us.. Just an update on FUSE and you´ll make old and new customers happy.

Thanks again!

Sabas.

It´s been a while, but I´m still here... I know Fender won´t announce things coming, but hope "anything" new show up soon; there´s been hundreds of ideas here -in other thread, but here in Fender FUSE forum-, including, yes, an acoustic simulator.

So I´m just writing to let you know I´m still here, waiting...

Thanks!

Just to clarify, product development cycles are quite lengthy when it comes to new features. Development cycles (which are relatively long) are different than maintenance cycles which are fairly short and typically only fix or enhance existing features...they don't add new ones.

When you consider the planning and design of which new features will go into the product, the research, the design, the development, and the QA and testing, I wouldn't be holding my breath on your feature to be coming out real soon. But that should give you time to save up the money you'll need to buy the new Mustang version 3 with the acoustic simulator feature in it when it does finally come out...

Hi! I understand your point, and I know it´s more likely to happen the way you´re saying... :?

But... IF aco sim is included on Mustang 3 generation it would have worthed requesting it this long... Don´t you think?

Quite honestly I'm not sure an acoustic simulator is something that would appeal to a very large market of buyers. Out of all the guitar players I know, I'm the only one who uses one on stage (a Boss AC-3), and that's really only for one song in our entire list of songs. Even in that case my acoustic simulator pedal isn't routed to the amp, but directly to the PA which is the way Boss recommends you do it. I do however use an actual acoustic guitar quite often which is routed through my amp with a preset based on the preamp model included in version 2.

There is really no comparison between the sound of a real acoustic guitar and an electric played through an acoustic simulator. It may be passable for short phrases within a song if it's rigged the way I do it through the PA, but the amp will invariably color the sound and it won't sound very natural at all. More like a very tinny telecaster.

I am with you on the need for a acoustic simulator. A lot of other companies have them and I am sure with everything the mustang has in it there has to be a formula for that preset someplace in there I just can not seem to find it. I would love to see Fender come out with one for the Fuse system.

Thanks for joining in this crusade, dondaz60!

Almost a year, but well, who knows? Perhaps THIS is the year we´ll see it included in FUSE.

Hello Fender!!! Any word on if you will do this and when? It shouldn't be all that hard with everything the Mustang Floor has in it and other companies already have it in there multi pedals. Lets show them that Fender can do it and also do it better.

Hello!

I'd like to add myself to the request!!!

We want an acoustic simulator!!!

(In the meantime, any help on amp/eq/effect... to get close to the sound of an acoustic would be very much appreciated...!)

Thank you!

... just curious ... why don't you guys make your own patch with the FREE Fuse software ...?

the basic "pre-amp" setting would be a good start ... you could probably incorporate the Fender Twin amp if you wanted ... but endless requests for something probably won't get you what you want ...

just sayin' is all

Space'

Hi,

in my case, what happens is I don't have any idea of what parameters are needed to sound like an acoustic. Not a clue! If i just improvised, I could spend days, reaching nowhere!!

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to chime in here and offer that if any of you participating in this discussion are Fender® Mustang™ V2 users, we include the Studio Preamp model in the V2 product range. It is intended to be a neutral, clean model and does work well for use with acoustic guitars.

Best Regards,

Alan
