Well, is just that. I used Fender back in my old XP computer, but something happened and I couldn't run it, it just flash the "Loading, please wait" screen, then turn it black and stoped working there.

I thought it was something because of the SO, so instead of finding a solution, I wait and earned money to buy another computer.

So, yesterday, in the new computer, I've tried to install the Fender Fuse software and everything went smooth. The problem came when, in the faded screen I could see in the down-left screen the message of "Starting" and it never changed. I closed Fender Fuse and tried again, but the same. "I'll try tomorrow", I said and here I am. I can't unistall the software by any way to install it again, I can not even run the software. The Windows Task Manager doesn't show anything about the Fuse software running and still a text box tells me that Fuse is running and I can't unistall the software.

What's going on?

Did you check under the "Processes" tab in task manager? That is where I had to go to "end process" Fuse. This should "clear" it and let you uninstall.

You'll also see there is a "loading, please wait" thread here on the boards that is still an issue for some of us. I just bought a Mustang 2 v2 last Wed. and haven't been able to get past the loading screen.

Yeah, I did. But nothings appears. It's just like there's nothing of Fender Fuse running (And it doesn't, anyway). I'll try again, though.

Back in November-December I bought my Bronco40 and evertyhing was fine even in a computer with Intel ATOM(tm). I don't really know since when I had problems and notice that a lot of people had the same problem or alike as well.

Came back just to say that now I can use the software.

I don't know if this maybe useful, but I let here what I do. First of all, I have unistalled the software and don't really know how. Call it Luck and let's leave it like that.

First, I plugged the amp with my computer. Just then I run the .exe file to install the software. Install the software just by clicking Next until the message of "Turn off and then turn on your amp" appeared. I did so: Turn Off the amp, then turn it On again and jus then I click OK. The installations was done and I run Fender Fuse from the desktop icon.

The window of "Loading, please wait..." appeared and a few minutes later it run and sync with my amp. The software told me something about updating the framework(?) in my amp and told to turn my amp off, then push the Save buton (Yes, still Off) and, pushing the Save button I turn the amp On. The software started to download something and put it into my amp. The amp buttons of Save and Exit where like a siren (Without sound). When the process ended, another message apeared, telling me that if the Exit button was lit, everything was fine. If the save button were lit, then there has been a problem. Anyway, I just restarted the amp and dismiss the message.

When nothing appeared, I plug my bass and started playing with the knobs and everything worked. So just like that, my problem was solved.

So, don't know what happened but that's what I do and it worked. Try this, maybe it can help you. ~

P.D.: My amp is the Bronco40 and I don't own a Mustang, so can't tell if this is going to work on them.
