Since I never use a stereo setup when playing live, I would like to set up the default mode of all patches that I create/use in Fuse for my Mustang Floor and Mustang III V2 to be saved as mono. Is this possible?

Hi Lynn Nicholson,

We will be happy to assist. Could you please explain if you are using both Fender® Mustang™ devices in conjunction, or separately. Please let us know a bit more about the setup and we will be happy to assist further.

Right now I just have the Mustang Floor, but that will change a week from Tuesday!! Nonetheless, I will use them separately, but want to have the same patches in both rigs. Also, my son is going to be here over the 4th of July with his new Mustang II and I want to share some of my patches with him. All of the gear is to be used mono, not stereo.

Hi Lynn Nicholson,,

Thanks for providing us with those details. Your Presets for the Fender® Mustang™ Floor are compatible with your sons Fender® Mustang™ III (V2). However, the Mustang V2's contain new effects and amp modelling, so if you transfer any Presets containing new amp modelling or effects to a Mustang V1 device (such as the Mustang Floor), they will be replaced with existing "similar sounding" effect and amp modelling.

On the Fender Mustang amplifiers, there is no need to save any effects as mono, the stereo presets will be summed to mono before being sent to the speaker. On the Floor, you should change the Output Configuration (in the Utility Menu) from stereo to mono and you should be good to go. Please let us know if we can assist further.
