There is no reason why not. If It has a 1/4" output jack just plug it in, an amp is an amp

Hi lithiumsky,

You can use your acoustic guitar with your Fender® Mustang™. You will likely want to use the "Studio Preamp" amp model, as it is designed to be quite neutral and is tailored for use with acoustic guitars. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

Hello,

I've just bought an electro acoustic guitar and I'm looking for an acoustic preset for my mustang I.

Unfortunately I own the previous version so I can't have acces to the "studio preamp" amp.

Which amp can I use in replacement? (or maybe there is a tip to have acces to the studio preamp with the v1?)

Thank you

Hi sakurazuka38,

You might want to try the Fender '65 Twin Reverb, as an alternative. Please let us know if we can assist further.

you may also want to visit the Fuse site and download a preset named EMPTY by a user named PITA. this is a preset with no amp emulations., just a dry signal to run your acoustic into
