IMPORTANT: Dell users and no amp found
If you are running a Dell computer and you are unable to connect your amplifier to fuse, turn off the Dell stage program, a row of button shortcuts before launching Fuse. THis took hours to figure out. If this helps send me money! Just kidding :D

You also need to turn off the weather report and all other widgets that use Silverlight.

Hi technoteacher,

We wanted to chime in here and clarify a bit. We have been looking into this issue. It is reproducible. And it is not actually a Silverlight issue. Rather, it is a matter of this specific Dell software grabbing the USB related USB port. This is a very specific issue that affects only folks who have this specific software installed on their PCs (i.e. certain Dell PC owners).

We are continuing to check into this one, and will post any updated information that we have once we conclude our own research related to this issue.

Just had to say a big thank you technoteacher I seriously just spent 3 and a half hours uninstalling reinstalling drivers and software and what have you trying to get my Floor to work the moment I got rid of Dell Stage problem solved! Would have never remotely thought of that! Anyway thanks a lot! Time to play!

I just got a Mustang II and plugged it into the computer to find it doesn't connect. I registered for this forum, logged in, and on the front page I see this thread. I haven't been home to see if it works yet, but I am running the Dell Stage and the weather update. I will close those and try it out when I get home.

I never in a million years would have thought of that on my own. And to see the topic and solution so boldly stated on the first page of the forum?

It must be my lucky day. :D

I just got home and tried it. Still doesn't work. :(

Edit: Oops! Forgot to turn off the weather forecast. Did that and everything is working fine.
