I don't want to download new presets, I want to take away all but 4 existing presets so the channels can be clean. How would I go about doing this? I just want to plug in and play not do all this technical stuff.

Hi junglejam55,

We are happy to assist. Since you did not indicate which amp you have, we can give an overview here. But basically you have either 24 or 100 "live" Presets that always have data loaded in them. In order to change this, you can select a Preset and turn the Gain knob down to zero/off. Then you can turn down the MOD and DLY/REV knobs to zero.off (Fender® Mustang™ I/II) or press any effects buttons that are lit (Mustang III-V) to bypass.

This will get the amp to a state where you have only the model active, with no Gain or effects on. From there you can decide what you would like to do with that Preset, if anything else, then Save and move to the next. Hopefully this helps. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,
