i m running windows 7 and downloaded fender fuse for my new mustang1 v2 and all is ok for about 5 mins then it seems to just stop and any adjustments i make on the screen amp dosent change anything on the amp ...i close fender fus but then it wont restart unless i completley reboot my laptop and the the whole thing happens again...ive updated everything but makes no diffrence...please help its so frustrating !!!! :?

I just installed mine two weeks ago and having the same problem. Did you get this fixed?
Thanks for any help.

there looking into it for me just waiting to hear if they come up with a solution ..I will let you know soon as they do

The people at fender have looked at my PC logs and think theres a conflict of drivers between fender fuse and a programme called Bonjour and a possible solution would be to uninstall Bonjour...However Bonjour is an Apple ipod programme and without it my ipod shuffle iTunes would be useless ...so its not really a soloution ...Ive never had a problem with any other programmes conflicting so why have fenders softwear designers wrote a programme that causes this in the first place half the worlds population probably owns an apple product and will have this Bonjour programme on there computers therefore rendering fender fuse and there mustang connection useless....all I can say is im very disappointed as downloaded the suggested Beta 2.7.30 version of fuse and problem still exists....hanging up after 5-10 mins then having to do a complete computer restart to get back on fuse....slowly loosing the will to live !!!!

That isn't the problem in my case, I would never install any apple programs on Windows, From my experience apple programs cause many conflicts with Windows and they seem to be designed to make Windows crash, I think apple has a motive behind crashing people's Windows computers with ITunes and QuickTime, but I can't prove it, but I never recommend installing these programs because of the many problems I have seen them cause, I will never own an Ipod, a simple mp3 player suits me fine, Windows recognizes my mp3 player as a removable disk, all I have to do is drag and drop to add music to it, This may be the case with some peoples systems,., I recommend selling the Ipod, reinstalling your OS and staying away from apple software on a Windows machine, The reason reinstalling your OS would be necessary is apple software leaves many registry errors that will continue to make your computer act up,

Hi jaksprat,

Thanks very much for following up here. This is one possibility that we are considering in your case. This is based on the review of your system logs. There are, in fact a large number of log entries indicating that there are conflicts with Bonjour on your particular PC. They don't all relate specifically to Fender® FUSE™. However, some do. Of the many thousands of installations of the Fender FUSE software in the field at this point, there is not normally a conflict between these two software tools. We also suggested that you try setting up a new 'Admin' level user account.

With that said, we would very much like to continue to work with you to address the issues you are seeing in whatever way we can. It is a bit difficult to move from email to the Forum and try to maintain continuity between the two modes of communication. We would ask that you get back with us directly via email so that we can work with you on this.

If the results of the troubleshooting steps we do with you can benefit the Fender FUSE Community at large, we will include them in our revised troubleshooting documents which we are in the process of updating now. Thanks very much.

Best Regards,

have fun. a whole lot of good presets on the site, but you will find that the ones that you like the best are the ones you create, we all have different guitars with different pickups, so what sounds good to one person may not sound as good to another with a different guitar and pickups.
