From my laptop screen of Fuse, when I select a backing track, then hit the Start button by the Band button, it plays but won't repeat. Click on Band and it lets you check a box for repeat, but it doesn't work, and the box is unchecked whenever you click on band the next time. Is there something else I need to be doing?

Did you hit save (button s/b red if you've made a change)? Is your memory lock turned on? If so, turn it off and retry.
cheers,
Alex

I don't want to install it on the 99 channels, they are all already taken, and I don't want to randomly overwrite them. I am trying out the backing tracks and might not even want to keep them. The presets work off the laptop without overwriting the amp memory, and the backing tracks play when I click START on the laptop, or hit the space bar. So it's doing exactly what I want, except the wav file plays 27 seconds and stops.

I can simply play the wav file in windows media player and set it to repeat. However this means I have Fuse running yet I am using IE for downloading files and media player to play them... I don't understand why the repeat feature on the band button in Fuse doesn't work.

Wow, that's a problem I've never heard before. I use the bandtracks all the time and have been doing so for nearly 2 years on all the different versions of FUSE w/o a hitch.

I can't imagine where to begin looking for an answer, you need to contact Fender Support directly.

You shouldn't have to press the SAVE button for it to work as you expect.

Same problem here. Mac OS X 10.7.4, FUSE 2.7.0.23 for Mac, G-DEC 3 Thirty with 1.04 firmware.

I've been working on loading new blues/rock .wavs over most of the built-in metal presets (sorry, just not my thing  ) by clicking the Band button in FUSE and assigning new tracks, but checking the Repeat checkbox inside the Band dialog seems not to actually take effect no matter what I do.

I've been working around this problem by saving all my presets/wavs to the amp as desired, then shutting down FUSE and just manually going through and setting Repeat to On for each newly-saved preset using the buttons and display on the amp itself. That works fine, so it's not exactly a crisis, just a hassle. Still, somebody on FUSE's Mac OS X programming team should hear about this bug.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you are experiencing. We are working on this and will publish an updated build of the Fender® FUSE™ software as soon as possible.

In the mean time, please adjust this parameter directly on the amp in the Band menu. We appreciate your patience.

Best Regards,

Is there a solution to this problem. I am experiencing the same issue. It worked in older versions of fuse but not 2.7 I tried to go back to a previous version and it is not repeating.

I found that at first . I did 2 things today and the mp3s will now repeat.

1) My default browser is FF m so I opened IE and updated Flash Player

2) When loading a Band track I selkct MP3, and then check the repeat box BEFORE selecting the track

Hey - there - Make sure that the band track downloads completely. For example I had an issue with the Eric-Johnson-SRV band track not repeating correctly. This issue was that the file had not completely downloaded and thus left a gap which sounds like a repeat issue but its really a file issue. Left to play long enough the track would eventually loop but then go to silence again. Look at the file size of the band track, and the file size of your completed download, make sure they match.
