Hi i'm using a Mustang3 V1 and when i move an effect from the loop to the front of the amp or vise vesra every effect i got set turns on but the lights don't come on so when i press the button the 1st time the light comes on and the effects stay on i have to press the switch the 2nd time to get the effects to turn of

if i move a mod effect the delay reverb stomp and the mod will automatically come on and this happens every time i put any effect from the loop to the amp or vise versa making me turn every effect on then off to get them to go away

ps: i never tried to move them using the dail and the lcd i'm always pluged in to a computer using fuse so i don't know if it happens only if i'm using fuse or not

anyone else have this problem and is it fixable

This is a known error, which should be solved in the newest Fuse Beta 2.6.135.
Here http://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=73607 you'll find it.

Did you do the offered update of the bundled firmware? The FX-changing was a firmware thing, the not turning knob a Fuse thing.
At least for me it solved the error.

I had a similar problem when I owned a Mustang II a while back. Whenever I had the USB cable plugged in, effects would randomly switch on and off. I attributed it to the USB cable picking up noise, since it didn't happen when the amp wasn't plugged in via USB.

I sold that amp not long after, for a variety of reasons.

These days, I still like some things about the Mustang line-up, but I'm gonna stick with amplifiers that have no "software" anywhere near them.

I got the latest updates for both the amp and fuse and i'm 90% sure its still happening.
I guess i'll phone or i might try to uninstall and re-install fuse and sliverlight see if that helps.
Thanks for the help :D

my effects dont turn on randomly just when i move one from the effects loop to the front of the amp or vise versa
and all of them will turn on at once

Hi corpseknot,

Fender FUSE v2.7.0 comes bundled with the latest firmware, for all Fender FUSE connected devices. So if you are unsure that you have the most recent firmware installed on your amp, we recommend you update firmware with the most current version of Fender FUSE. Please let us know how it goes and if we can assist further.

Hi corpseknot,

I am assuming that you are an owner of a Fender Mustang I/II amp. Is that correct? If so, you may want to try programming your Presets either in Fender FUSE or on the amp, then "zeroing" out the effects knobs on your amp for live use . Please check this out, and let us know if we can assist further.

Regards,
