EDIT: I e-mailed the fender-team and they answered me with a link to download version 2.7.0 of Fender Fuse. I downloaded and installed it, plugged in my Mustang 2 V2 via USB and it worked immediately !

Fender Technology Support Lab edit: (Hi GunnaPanda. Thanks so much for jumping in and assisting. We are about to release a public version of Fender FUSE that is compatible for the full line of Fender FUSE-connected products. We did need to pull your link here as it is not the specific build that we are releasing. Please stand by for that. We appreciate your participation here. Best Regards.)

I know there are already many Threads complaining about problems with the Fuse Software, but I'm still creating another one because it just must not be that you pay so much money for those products to have those promised features (such as preset-loading via Fender Fuse) and they just don't work!

I connected my Mustang 2 V2 via the included USB (also tried 2 other cables) and windows plays the sound, as it always does, when something is connected to the USB-ports.
The Amp also shows up in the sound panel as an input, so I guess neither the amp's USB-port nor my notebook's USB is broken.
I got the Fender Fuse 2.6.1.35 Software installed but whatever I try to do, the software always says "No Amp Connected".

I hope somebody can help me...

I got Windows 7 64-bit, also tried my 3 different USB-ports (2 are USB 2.0, 1 is USB 3.0)

Thanks for the Fuse link - My current version 2.6.1.35 does not recognise my amp. I use Mac computers and the link is for a pc. Do you happen to know if there is a link for Macs? I cannot find any info on Fuse 2.0.7 anywhere.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Mike

@FTSL: why didn't you mention on the Fender Fuse web page that the latest V.2 amps are not yet supported by the current Fuse software? I almost returned my Mustang I V.2 amp thinking it was defective! (over here in the EU you can return products that you buy online within two weeks...)

This is all very disappointing. Please mention it if you release a new product which is not yet compatible with current software.

Thank you FTSL for replying promptly.
Will we be notified when a working Fuse software is up and running or will we have to keep looking on the web?

By the way, my local music shop are now aware of this problem and cannot, to be fair, sell any Mustangs until Fuse is fully working. This not only affects the customers but also the retailers!

On the bright side, I know you are doing your best to address the Fuse shortfall, so thanks in anticipation :D

Hi hankariley,

We apologize for any frustration you have experienced getting your amp and software set up. We have an upgrade of the Fender FUSE software that offers full support for the new Fender Mustang (V.2) series amplifiers. Please see the link below and download and install the software from there.

Once installed, you should see your new amp connecting and functioning correctly with Fender FUSE. Please let us know if we can assist further. Thanks much.
