I have a Mustang Floor and noticed that there was a firmware update available. I connected the Floor to the computer, launched FUSE, and selected "Update Firmware". As instructed, I turned off the Floor, then turned it back on while holding down the data wheel. Then I selected to update the downloaded update. It started to load, then stopped and said that the update failed - leaving my Mustang Floor in Limbo. The screen was all white and the save button was flashing and there wasn't any way to get it working again. I turned it off and back on, I unplugged the power cord, I unplugged the USB cable, I hit the Exit button, all to no avail. I uninstalled FUSE and downloaded and installed it again. The Floor was still in Limbo. The only thing I could do was attempt the update again - over and over and over and over and over... After about 15 attempts it worked and my Mustang Floor came back to life again. What happened? I was in a panic. Is there a way to restart the Floor if the update had never worked? Help.

Hmmm, I know how your feel, I am currently in the same boat. Though I have only tried about 5 times and it has not worked yet, may be I should keep trying? Started out with version 1.1, tried to update just as the manual said to 1.4, no go. I had the same message about the update failing, and to turn it off and on again. the second you turn it off it tells you the update was successfull, but to no avail, it still not working.

I finally got it to work. I had to open silverlight, and under the Application Storage tab, Fender fuse is listed along with netflix and a few others. I unchecked the box labled enable application storage. At this point, the fuse software stopped working. SO I closed the fuse software, and rechecked the enable application storage in silverlight, opened Fuse and crossed my fingers. Successful update!

For reference sake, all my software is the newest version, on PC windows 7.
