Here's the deal - My main recording machine is PPC G5 tower (dual 2.5 ghz. w/6-gigs) and FUSE won't work on non-intel Mac (c'mon Fender - there's still millions of us on G5's according to the apple forums). I also have Win 7 laptop set up with recording software too but I use my Mac most of the time.

I should be able to run FUSE on my laptop - tweak presets, download, etc., - write it all to my NEW Mustang (schaweeeet by the way) and then use the Mustang with my Mac Daw's (with all the new presets working fine) right ?

Hmmmmm.... Once I write presets to my Mustang I don't need to run FUSE everytime just to use them right? They're written to the amp itself right?

p.s. I take a lot of pain meds (2 different ones) because of back problems (I'm 100% disabled from a construction injury and now draw full SS disability as a result of it) so I sometimes "wander" a bit after I take em ;)

Short answer (in case your meds are kicking in ;) ) is yes. You can tweak to your heart's content in Fuse on your win 7 laptop, and whatever you save will still be on the amp when you use your Mac DAW.

Hi Strangedogs,

It looks like you have gotten some good assistance here. Thanks ARX320 for jumping in. Also, if you do get a new Mac in the future, you can have Fender FUSE open for editing on the fly and use your DAW at the same time. Please let us know if we can assist with anything else.
