I couldn't use my eepc because of resolution limitations so I quickly installed just FUSE on another laptop with no FUSE installed on it yet (a G73) only to be able to access the feature of downloading the stock Mustang-I presets from the net to the hard drive before making any changes to the amp-resident preset tree. I couldn't get anywhere because FUSE doesn't do anything unless an amp is connected (and it will not be connected to the G73). Another unjustifiable and useless limitation. Meanwhile my desktop mothership PC is next to the Mustang-III in another part of the house and the FUSE installed there with the Windows available there might not handle Mustang-I transactions from the net. A freakin' mess! I bought 2 Mustangs for flexibility and find myself having to connect both to the same computer to get anything done, and for al I know that may not even work if the handling of two different Mustang models was not anticipated by the developers and the ondisk preset trees get inetermixed.

Hi humchucker,

So, clearly you are frustrated with some aspects of our software. We fully understand. What we would like to do is assist in teh most effective way possible. When you say you cannot do anything with Fender FUSE without the amp connected and you won't connect the amp to that computer, we are not quite following. In regard to the Netbook, as here stated before, we have had a number of folks who have had success connecting an external monitor to the Netbook to access greater resolution.

So, we would suggest that at this point it may be most useful if you could clarify what we can assist with and how we can best assist you in getting the software running on one of your PCs with your amp, etc. Thanks.
