Are there any Fuse acoustic amp models or settings that can be downloaded to a Mustang II that work well for acoustic nylon guitars?

Hi johnglauda,

The Fender Mustang amp is not specifically designed for acoustics. But I pulled a search on the Fender FUSE Community site and found the following information. Check it out and see if anything there works for you.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try a few of the downloads. I must say however that I tried my classical electric through my Mustang II and I'm quite impressed with the sound (Twin Reverb Clean). It will definitely work in instances where I don't want to lug two amps (I use a Acoustic 15 watt amp for the nylon electric). The Mustang II definitely sounds better than my previous amp, a Marshall DFX30 watt) and may actually work better in larger venues than my Acoustic amp.

Hi johnglauda,

That sounds good. I'm glad to hear that the amp is working out well for you overall. Please let us know if we can assist further.

I asked this question in a separate post. Where do I save the .fuse presets? I tried saving them in the Fender/Fuse/Presets folder in MY Documents but when I try to either open or import them, they don't load or open (I get a error message, something about trail?, corrupted?). The only community created presets I've been able to load were off the Web media library list.

Hi johnglauda,

The Web tab (center row of tabs) in the Media Library (when you are logged in) will show the same content as the actual Fender FUSE Community website. you should be able to download directly from the web site to Documents\Fender\FUSE\Presets. Or you can download the same content from Media Library (in Fender FUSE software) by right clicking on the file you want from the Web tab in the center row of tabs. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Thanks. I figured out what was wrong with the two presets I downloaded from the community. For some reason they turned into shortcuts. When I re-downloaded them, I made sure they remained as actual .fuse files. I've downloaded a few more and trying them out. Thanks again.
