Sorry for the double post but i want to get a answer for this problem and i have gotten no response on the G-DEC 3 forum.

I was just tweaking preset 2 brit jangle in fuse but in the advanced amp settings i set the compressor to my own custom settings and when i saved my new settings to my G-DEC 3 the compressor settings are not what i saved? It went back to a previous fixed compressor setting, for example low or high,i also had the overdrive stompbox in the effect chain but had it in the bypass mode and when i saved my new settings in fuse to my G-DEC 3 the stompbox was turned on and not in the saved bypass mode? The amp model settings and cab models are saved the way i wanted after tweaking them but not the compressor settings for some reason?

I updated to firmware version 1.04 about three months ago when i bought my G-DEC 3,could this be the reason for the problem i have saving my custom user settings from fuse to my amp?

I hope someone from fender can help me resolve this problem?

Hi Metalman...
I just checked on my Gdec3-30 with firmware v1.04 (fuse v 2.3.0) and modified a preset to a custom compressor setting, then saved it using save in fuse. I switched to another preset, then back to the modified one and the custom compressor setting was still there...my modded preset was properly saved.
When you save a preset with an effect turned off, it ignores your wishes and has it turned on when you next call it up, or at least that's been my experience.
hth,
Alex

Thanks for your reply. I tried to save my custom compressor settings again but i saved them to my computer in the fuse library and my settings were saved but the settings are saved in the last compressor setting, for example if the compressor was set to high and i modified the compressor on this original preset setting it will overwrite it to my new user settings but the compressor still says it is on the high setting even though it is my custom setting.

I will try to save it to my amp from the user preset library and let you know if it saves my settings to my G-DEC 3 this way.

Sounds like a plan 8)
In case I wasn't clear in my original reply, I was saving my modified presets using the save button in Fuse and saving to the amp.
cheers,
Alex
ps...you probably already saw this, but there's a reply from Fender to your original query in the GDec forum
