Just sent a new email message with all the details.
To be clear, I never got Fender FUSE installed. That is the problem, I keep getting an "installation failed" message but no information on what went wrong.

Thank you.

Best regards,

I love the Fender Mustang.Great Amp Good price & very versatile. One Issue I seem to Notice Is the Difference In volume on the different channels.I know they can Be tweaked. But as an example. If playing In a band that has 2 guitars.I have a preset for 1 song Then if I change the channel for another song I notice the Volume levels are much higher on some amps then others. It seems that with the same settings certain Amps are Louder.Any suggestions on how to get them all Fairly Equal?I have dialed them In at home.Only to find when I get to rehearsal. After doing a sound check Its good.Unless I change to another channel. Its either to low or to loud. Most noticeable at Louder volumes.Any Input greatly appreciated. Thanks

Had an idea and suppose this would be the best place to put it rather than a dedicated thread.

do a tie up with a game maker. Do a Fender style Rocksmith that includes Fuse and the capability to connect the console/PC to the amp. Play through the Amp which is far better than the guitar through the TV with the inherent Delay hassles, plus have the console automatically load a relevant preset for the tune down to the amp and of course the possibility to store them.

Hi everybody. I have the mustang 1 amp for a few months now, and I love it and the Fuse software. It can be made better though. I haven't read all of the previous posts, so I don't know if it has already come up, but I would like to see an option for the pitch shifter modulation pedal to play only the altered pitch note, and not both. Thanks, cheers!

Any way we can put a thumbs up and thumbs down on these posts? That way, others can agree or say no, that is not a good idea.

I can't find any presets for Nasty Dogs, and I only get 4 for zztop. Is there something wrong with the software, or is there just a lack of users due to problems with it?

Why do fuse and fender lounge have different user names and passwords? Is there really any difference? The password requirements are really high, do we store money here, or is there a security risk I am unaware of? I would think the risk for my lounge password would be about the same as getting into a restroom. Actually, pm me, I'll gladly sell it to you for a very low price. Think, double maccheese burger. Another vote for allowing audio previews of presets online before downloading....but on a hardware front, being able to tell whether your next foot button press is going to bank up or down. At present it's a case of remembering what happened the previous time....

Something that would help colour blind people to identify the red, green and amber preset leds in fuse. This would help all Mustang 1 and 2 colour blind owners, to use their amps and the Fuse software..
My idea is to have the led symbol that is currently a circle with the channel colour, changed to a RED "R", a GREEN "G" and an ORANGE "O" alongside the preset name.
Then when the Preset knob on the amp is moved the software would give a symbol identifying what colour channel it was on.

Now that would make Fender Fuse the first modeling software that helped colour blind guitarists.

I couldn't agree more. I can never tell where I am, all the lights look the same color to me. I have to crank the know all the way left or right and then count back to know where I am. Or, use a white and blue LED. Amber, green and red are hell, and useless, to color blind people.

Hi JohnR242,

Thanks for the added information. And I will be happy to pass it along. I am not sure how effectively we can add additional letters to the note letter that is already displayed in Fender FUSE related to this product. But again, I will be happy to pass it along. I am also wondering, is it possible for you to count through the Banks? In other words you have three Banks of eight. When the dial is down all the way (counterclockwise), you are at the start of the Amber Bank or Bank one. Then when you move the Preset knob clockwise, you reach the top of the first (Amber) Bank. Next is Green (2) and then Red (3). Perhaps this can be an effective workaround via the numbers instead of the colors. Thanks.

Yes, it's a workaround. The key word is work and making more for me. Not nice. In my other post I indicated other color diodes could work. Not of much use for the amps we already own as it is a hardware and not software issue. Just so Fender knows, this is the biggest drag, (downside) to owning a mustang or a bronco and I own both.

Hi

Just wondering if it's possible to receive an email notification when someone posts a new preset. It might make it more likely that people will go to the web site and check out presets more often.

As a part of our continuing efforts to improve the Fender FUSE editing/librarian software, Fender would like to invite Forum Members to participate in this Forum discussion by offering your thoughts, ideas and feature requests for Fender FUSE. All ideas will be considered and reviewed. Please keep in mind that it will not be possible to implement all ideas submitted here into Fender FUSE. Nonetheless, we very much appreciate and value all ideas presented. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time.

Regarding the Super Champ X2, here is my take on it, give us a software 20 band cut and boost EQ between the pre and power amps, after all of the modeling stuff. And please include that in the Clean channel as well as the other editable channels, editable per model.

Thank you for considering our requests.

Mac PPC support would be oh so nice. There's still million + PPC G5 (and G4's too) owners using the G5 ccording to polls taken in the apple discussion forums.

It would be nice if there was a presence control in Fuze's next update for the Super Champ X2 clean channel. If that could be implemented that would be a great addition.
