Yeah, Larry. Lie after lie after lie about Fuse makes me wonder about everything else. Makes me almost feel bad about loving my Strat and my Mustang III so much.

grritz, I totally agree with you. I needed something easier to use then my Mustang III amp for setting up sets and programming. So I purchased the EVH 5150III 2x12 50watt combo and a Roland GT-100. It is so easy to program the GT-100, set up my sets, etc;. The 5150III is an awesome amp as well. All tube so no programming. and with the GT-100, I can change channels on the amp as well so it is perfect for my needs. Also the 50 watt tube amp is like 10 time louder then the Mustang III and IMO sounds so much better.

I'm going to Phoenix, AZ in June of this year. I've already talked with one of my friends that lives in Phoenix to go with me to Fender in Scottsdale, AZ. I will call Steven Jackson and set up a time to meet with him when I'm there. Lets see if he will lie to my face. I talked to Alan Wiley on the phone last year and he just told me the same BS that he posted. I will see what happens. I just don't know the exact date as of yet, but it will be in June 2016. I'll even ask to speak with the programmer that is working on Fuse, (if they even have a programmer there). And I will report back on this site. So, I guess we shall see. I was going to go last year, but life got in the way. I so wanted to confront them then, but I guess June is better then not contacting them at all.

Larry: I hope you can go. And I hope you'll be able to get SOMETHING out of SOMEONE at Fender that's more than the song-and-dance we've been getting for the past 4-5 years.

This whole situation has taken on tragi-comic proportions.

All Fender needs to do is just give us SOMETHING we can believe in. But they have chosen not to do so.

Frustrating. Angering. Disappointing. Laughable.

And sad. Very, very sad.

Let it go, folks. Cut the losses and move on.
And if anyone ever asks your opinion on Fender, you get to tell the truth without blowing a vein.

Sorry, Rock Star. Too old to just "let it go" when I know someone is just flat-out lying to me. It puts me into semi-permanent state of grouchiosity.

I’m with you grritz. How can you let this go? There is the humor side – seriously, I keep thinking about Baghdad Bob every time I read that same list of responses. There is the sad part, where I think about what a wonderful Amp they made combining all of the hardware/software and then simply abandoning it. Then there is the insane part - where they will not develop it, they will not release it for others to develop and they will not comment on it.
The good news is I already have this thread scraped off for saving – like the Fender Guitar this thread is a classic! (just in a different direction)

Id like a screen shot to be uploaded with presets so you can get more of an idea of the sound it will produce.

It is odd and curious that the Thread entitled: "Fender Digital Looking For Beta Testers" (linked below) was not posted to this Thread!? Rather, it was posted to the Lounge subforum. See: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=100836 The link resolves to Survey Monkey.

Being as Blackstar and Marshall now have modelling amplifiers with android compatibility , don't you think it's time Fender released a free android app for us Fuse users??

Those of us who have been WAITING FOR YEARS would be happy if Fender did ANYTHING with Fuse! Fender has starved Fuse to death and lied again and again to those of us who have asked. RIP Fuse.

Probably because this forum has far fewer readers...

Dear MusicLaw,

Thanks for your inquiry. Please be advised that the Digital beta testing referenced in the Lounge forum is not Fender® FUSE™ or Fender® MUSTANG™ related.

Please let us know if we can assist you further.

Best Regards,

Regards,

This is probably the closest to an admission we're going to get from Fender that FUSE is abandoned.

Yep. Same ol' garbage: Do nothing. Say nothing. But most of all, do nothing. I thought I could believe in Fender. But I'm tired of the stalling and the lies.

FUSE HELD HOSTAGE: DAY 1347

It has been 1347 days since Fender began this forum, asking for feedback on Fuse.
Since that time, Fender has done nothing.

1347 days and counting.
