It would be great to have a Fender Steel King amp model. With mid frequency and mid level. And with 15 inch speaker cabinet modeling. This would be very helpfull to steel guitar players.

I would like the ability to save my Fuse edited amp settings back on my SCX2 so that I can recall them from the 16 voice settings on the amp after disconnecting from the USB input.

I'm sorry Phelps. Fender isn't going to do anything. They just lie and say they are going to do something. Can't trust a company that will lie.

Hi all, just doing my yearly check in. Good to see you still active Larry. I note that the software statement posted in the main section by TSL is now over a year old. Are we going on 3, 4 or 5 years since an update - I lost count. It is now 2016 and I'll just bet Fender is still committed to supporting Fuse! How does that old joke go... I'd rather owe it to you the rest of my life than cheat you out of it. Of course Fender owes us nothing, which is pretty good because that is what we are getting. Happy New Year all, let's do this again in 2017.

It's been mentioned. http://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=84487 Also, this thread is for FUSE feature requests, not Mustang feature requests.

Greetings I am a professional Mustang III v2 user. One small change that would make a big difference would be to allow any effect/stomp box/mod etc to be placed in any position. It would seem the amp already has the horsepower to do this, even though the "slot" might be mis-named. I'd love to put a compressor in front of the overdrive pedal. Thanks.

I totally agree with you, but don't hold your breath, unless you have holes in your cheek. Fender is NOT going to add anything to Fuse or the Mustang amp....EVER..... This forum has been going on for over 5 years now and not 1 Fuse modification was ever done. (except a few minor bug fixes). Sorry to be the barer of bad tidings..

Just saw this, hope you're still watching it. I have a SCX2 and you can save your edited amp settings to the amp for use when not connected to the computer. All 16 voices can be changed and all 15 effects can be changed. Download the SCX2 manual and the Fuse manuals form the Fender site. They explain it all.

FUSE is DEAD. Nothing for months and months and months. Nothing, that is, but promises.

OK...I'm convinced...FUSE is DEAD. RIP.

I called Fender yesterday (03/08/16) and spoke with Steven Jackson, who is now moderator of the "Fuse Feedack" forum. Alan Wiley is no longer there, though you'd never know that from the forum, which still has his name posted.

Steven gave me the same ol' song and dance:
• Fuse has not been abandoned.
• They are working on updating Fuse.
• They will not tell us when we will see an update.
• They do not comment on projects-in-progress.

I think they're all just lying to us.

Too bad. I love my Strat. I love my Mustang III. But I no longer believe I can trust Fender to tell us the truth about anything!

And that's sad.

grritz, Is Allen Wiley no longer with the company or just moved to another position?

My question is How can Fender continue to say they are working on Fuse when it has been 5 years and nothing has been done? I know that I can not trust Fender or believe anything they tell me. I still like their products, but if we can't trust them to tell us the truth, it sure makes you wonder about everything else. Like warrantee repair, or product descriptions. Remember, a liar is a cheater and a cheater is a stealer and a stealer is a liar. Just like the new Fender guitars. They say they have updated the Fender American Deluxe to the Fender American Elite. The Elite has 12 updates. Well, they don't tell you what they took away. If you look at the nut, for instance, it was a roller nut on the Deluxe, but not just a piece of plastic on the Elite. That is a downgrade. Another misleading statement they are giving us. Just saying.......
