I thought you said it was a female that was doing the Silverlight programming?

Just got my Mustang IV V.2 yesterday! Here are a few initial observations.

All patches lack treble from my Ibanez JEM. Not sure why this is but a global EQ would be nice.
My preferred sound includes sustain, distortion and wah. I can only get one of these at a time.
Wah/Volume as controlled by an EXP-1 should come before anything else in the chain and should not replace the Stompbox slot.
Please make banks of presets by style / artist. I would be willing to pay for professionally made presets like this.
As with the Line 6 Vetta, presets lean very heavily towards classic amps and effects. Would like more modern stuff, too. Over the years I've gotten far more longevity out of a Digitech RP20.
While I realize that the Mustang models the sounds, as each component effects the others, as closely as possible, it would be nice if there were as little hiss as possible. Something along the lines of a Boss NS-2, both at preset and global levels, would be useful.

In essence, although classic tube / solid state sounds have their pros, they also have technical limitations that the Mustang/Fuse setup should be able to overcome.

Nice amp, though!!

I've got the fender mustang III v2 and most of the things I would want it to have had already been said by other users, specially the support for Android and Ipad devices.

Anyway, and just for the next fender amps, it would be nice that the 4-button switch pedal would display the name of the preset instead of just the number; it's a bit hard to remember the number of each specific preset. Just because I think that this is impossible to add to the old amps, it would be superb if fender fuse had support for Android or Ipad devices so using a long wire (or if you add wireless capabilities) you could monitor in real time which preset is selected.

Please, Please remove the Silver Light, Mono Software Gumbo. Fuse has run amazingly well, but the UI usability feature and functionality is no where as good as a native app. Based on what you have done with SilverLight which is very good, there is no doubt you would have done 10 times better with a native UI OS services solution. You might consider building your core engine using C, sorry you'll get some portability at that level, I know bummer. But build the UI and higher level services using each of the main OS's native software and services. That is the OS X and MS Windows UI's and system services. Users understand the UI capabilities and the systems high level services quite well and are frustrated and bewildered when the natural abilities of their OS and UI environments are not exploited. Software like Flash, Silverlight, Java, C# are not in the same league as a native app, though they try. Build team expertise at the core, and at each OS UX level's. I really like Fuse, but the silver light and mono scare the crap out of me. Fuse has generally been working great but at times, my heart has stopped, like today. For some reason Fuse came up all black. Luckily, I reinstalled silver light and everything was great again! I've worked in Unix and MS environments for just about my whole career and that crap is a RARITY ON UNIX based systems but it is the expected behavior in MS type systems. A plug-in SDK would be awesome for modeling and effects. Based on your Dec, 24 post It looks like your feature list is pretty exciting! Good Luck! Oh, yes one more item. One company used the model in the above scenario, MS. The MS Office Mac team at one time were some of the hottest Mac software developers around.

I would love a Mustang I/II Firmware Update that allowed stomps to be saved in the Mod slots using the “Save Effects” Button in Fuse. I realize a compressor or OD Stomp don’t count as “Mod” but maybe it’s possible since it’s really just saving an FX configuration. This would allow Mustang I/II users to have the basic amp on the orange bank and add whatever preconfigured Stomp on the fly and save to the Green or Red bank. If Fuse ever becomes completely obsolete in the future due to advances in future operating systems, this would come in very handy.

New to this forum. Forgive me if this has already been suggested. When you are looking at or downloading presets or band tracks it sure would be nice if when you go back to the search screen it would remember the settings (search, genres, sort and show) that you had just put in. It's a bit of a pain to have to input them again.

Great amp!

Just disappointed that I can't add TWO of the same effects in the chain!!
C'mon Fender it's software and you sell us this amp so we can have fun creating various sounds. :|
Is there any reason for the restriction of doubling up or even tripling effects?

Take care

I come here once a week for a good laugh at Fender , these poor guitar players never saw it coming, the sad Fender product support or follow up to development of all these posts.

It's not only software - the DSP in the amp has limited processing power as well.

An audio preview of the preset before downloading is my number one wishlist item, followed by a more user-friendly user interface; Fuse is intimidating and unecessarily hard to use with confusing buttons all over the place which discourages users from taking full advantage of a great resource; good idea but needs improvement.
Thanks anyway for asking for comments - most appreciated and looking forward to a positive outcome.
