One thing that would be REALLY useful for the Mustang I and II users is to be able to turn a stomp off by say, holding down 'Exit', and pressing "Tap'

I would imagine at some point in the future, Fuse will be obsolete so it would be nice to have presets set up on the orange bank that can't be overwritten as part of the design, but be able to copy those to red or green and turn off the stomp on the fly and save it as a version without the stomp and adjust accordingly for your clean tone

I love the capabilities this amp and software have. I would really like it if I were able to use BOTH a compressor and overdrive stompbox at the same time. I also agree that it could be made easier to change the preset order and add presets to the amp.

Would love if my Mustang 1 vII had a balanced 3/4" output ....
Also if there was a favorites section where you could store settings in a gig folder. So, get to the gig open up the folder and all's there for that set. At the moment i'm doing that on my desktop so I know where I am.

Hi Fingerz,

Thanks for adding these comments here. In regard to the gig or set list idea, you can use Fender® FUSE™ to create Back Ups (Main Menu/Utilities/Back Up) and restore different Back Ups when you like. This way, you can have different groups of 24 Presets to load on to your amp. Hopefully this might help. Please let us know if we can assist further.

Best Regards,

My Mustang IV is my principle stage amp and if there is ONE thing that would make my life easier it would be a simple remote display, possibly based on a subset of FUSE functionality, that would be connected to the amp's USB port and give me a display of the NAME of the preset selected, and (optionally) the name of the amp model, and the effects that are in the signal chain (not their state - I can see that from the lights on the four-button switch).

I currently use the four button switch which tells me the number of the preset and state of the effects, but I have to mentally translate that to what preset that represents. I use a two button switch to cycle through the presets, so I very often can get confused as to what preset I'm working with. I name my presets meaningful names so a display I could set up on a stand that would tell me what preset I'm on and the effects available without having to go back to look at the amp's display would be a Godsend. It wouldn't need to be a fancy interface, but it would need to be durable and worthy of road travel.

Hopefully because it wouldn't be something you'd use to modify your settings it could be simpler (READ=FASTER) than the regular Fuse software interface. I've tried doing this with a Windows tablet and it helps, but it has a hard time keeping up when I switch through a lot of presets getting to the one I need, not to mention the text is really too small to read quickly. The display is very pretty, but more than what I need when performing.

In fact, if it was simply a smaller, more efficient interface that displayed the necessary info and showed me a list of my presets and the one I'm currently on that I could run on a windows tablet (or apple tablet) that would answer the need.

Any chance we could get an update on when the developers expect us to be able to drag and drop presets? I just spent nearly an hour moving my presets around because we rearranged our set list. I know this feature has been requested countless times.

Thanks,
Mark.

It would be great to hear; however, Fender has stated that they don't comment on anything unreleased. That's their policy.

It should be interesting when the next major release finally hits. We are quickly approaching the two-year mark when user requests were originally posted to a thread (which was consolidated into this thread about 20 months ago). They have released bug fixes and compatibility updates in the interim, but to my knowledge, that's been the extent of it. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)
