So now we are not even getting platitudes. Hello Fender, you left the "Fender Would Like Your Feedback..." forum active, have someone peek in now and then. Or instead of actually coding a decent preset GUI, you could code a bot to respond with more prosaic statements.

Yes I'm being snarky, I still love the amp - guys, show a little love, something, anything, get Spock to kick it in the side... check, check - thank you Cleveland... Is this mic on?

I haven't read all responses so please forgive if this has been covered. This is not just my opinion but that of people I know that the impulse to fill the screen with a great big picture of the amp model is flat wrong for this medium. Musicians are looking for transparency in getting to the sound they want. Making like-like knobs that you have to try to turn with a mouse is a freaking nuisance. You can knock yourself out with providing a picture of the amp somewhere on the screen but all controls should be simple sliders, not all these dials that act weird with a mouse drag. This tendency to design software this way is pervasive now--it's on the Line 6 and the Boss effects processors. And believe it or not, that is part of why people are going back to boutique pedals. There is absolutely no value to a musician to spend all this time and money making software with controls that look like they really existed for real fingers to twist only to have a mouse cursor waste time fumbling around because some corporate lacky falls in love with computer art. The best interface i ever used was the Boss GS-10 from about 8 years ago. None of the amps were shown--they were in a pull down list. The effects were all pedals that looked like the real thing. And everything was on one page. I would have gotten rid of the dials on the pedals because they were the stupid dials made for fingers not mice. Just make it easy. Dang.

In the preset section of FUSE, please consider moving the back and forward arrows from the center of the screen to the upper left as in most navigation browsers. This falls under a usability issue - thanks.

A little "praise" shout-out to Fender: Thanks for providing the Community area for us Mustang owners - it was a deciding factor in purchasing this amp.

And, yes, there are areas for improvement such as the well-published need to add a simple PRINT feature of the presets. Heard that one yet

As an aside, thanks for the quick response and resolution to my problematic preset issue from a few days ago - it's appreciated.

it would be cool if instead of having stomp, mod, delay and reverb you would have
effect 1, effect 2, effect 3 and effect 4 being able to put any effect in any slot
so you could use a od and compressor or a chorus and pitch shifter at once

Yeah, i think it would be cool feature, like just 4 effect slot, and we could put anything in it.

also I have suggestion for Mustang I/II if it could accessing Presence control or Cut control (on brit 60s) directly from amp. Just like Middle control that can be accessed via Exit button + Treble knob, maybe Presence/Cut with Exit+Bass.
and maybe Gain 2 on Super-Sonic with Exit+Gain.

I have recently purchased the Mustang II and I like the Fuse software, which is user friendly. However, I find the EQs brittle sounding. Also, no matter what amp model is selected, they all seem to lack in the bass department.

Frankly, I have never owned any amp with a 12" speaker that is so lacking in the low end department, which makes me think that it might be in the speaker design. In that regard, is there a speaker upgrade that could be used to determine if this is the problem insofar, as the bass issue?

The good news is the Mustang II does exhibit warm tubey characteristics, but when dialing in EQ, it has a tendency towards brittleness that defeats the simulated tube breakup. The Mustang II also has excellent distortion presets and possibilities, I just haven't found a "clean" amp model that is convincing though. The 65 Twin amp model just doesn't sound close.

In general, I am not a big fan of digital amp modeling, but Fender has done a remarkable job compared to the other products on the market.

give that speaker some time to break in CliffS, makes a huge difference.

No amount of time will improve this speaker. Instead, I have replaced it with a 50 watt Jensen Falcon, which has smoothed out some of the treble brittleness, while also extending the low frequency.

The weak point remains the EQ, which could benefit from an upgrade. Other than that, I like what Fender has done and hope it considers offering users the option of alternative plugins (preamps, eqs and effects).

The Fuse software is user friendly, as are the functions and presets on the amp.

Many good things to improve, and remember, Fender: Acoustic Simulator pedal, please!!

I insist: many other modelers (Digitech, Zoom, Vox, Behringer, etc.) have it. ...Yes, you could say: "go buy one of those and be happy". But the things is that I like my Mustang; I wouldn´t wanna replace it. And yes, I´m not a "significant" customer to Fender, I´ve just got the cheaper and lower Mustang model at that time, I don´t have an expensive model, but I´m sure that others might like the aco sim; it won´t hurt to have it on the list...

So Fender, I trust you´ll come with a surprise sooner than later...

Thanks for this product, again..

Sabas.

strings10927 is right CliffS, give some time for that speaker to break in, it called "burn-in speaker", after hours of playing with new speaker (typically more than 50 hours) you will notice more fuller sound, better low frequency response and smoothing high frequency.

(I think this is out of topic discussion)

Hi,
It would be interesting to be able to sort the list of preset stations by genre by moving up or down each preset, directly with fender fuse.

My experience with both guitar and audiophile speakers is they either sound right or they don't. The sonic improvements of "burning-in" a speaker is not dramatic, as some may claim.

Keep in mind, I chose the Mustang amp series because I like what Fender has done with amp modeling. I did not purchase it because of the factory speaker, which is not its strong point. Regardless, it is an easy upgrade and why manufacturers offer replacement speakers.
