Yup all the above would be nice.....drag and drop, fix the amp knob freeze, build separate preset files (libraries), put the timbre control back, allow for open slots on amp to move presets into when you need it (easily) etc.

Hi Alan, Getting back to you on the colour blindness problem. When you look at the amp (Mustang 1 and 2) it is impossible for a colour blind person to determine what bank the preset knob is on. Red? Green? Orange?.
Hook the amp up to fuse and the same applies. The red, green and orange led symbols alongside the preset name don't tell a colour blind person what coloured bank is active; on the amp or the software.
So I think if it would be possible to change the led symbol that is alongside the preset window in Fuse to a RED "R" for the red bank, a GREEN "G" for the green bank and an ORANGE "O" for the orange bank. This would serve as a bank indicator for colour sighted and colour blind people. Colour blind people would see the R, or G or O and know right away which colour bank was active. Hope this helps.

Hi JohnR242,

Thanks for the added information. And I will be happy to pass it along. I am not sure how effectively we can add additional letters to the note letter that is already displayed in Fender FUSE related to this product. But again, I will be happy to pass it along. I am also wondering, is it possible for you to count through the Banks? In other words you have three Banks of eight. When the dial is down all the way (counterclockwise), you are at the start of the Amber Bank or Bank one. Then when you move the Preset knob clockwise, you reach the top of the first (Amber) Bank. Next is Green (2) and then Red (3). Perhaps this can be an effective workaround via the numbers instead of the colors. Thanks.

Hi Alan, Thanks for passing along my idea. Currently the only way colour blind people can know what bank colour they are in for a certain preset on the amp is to do as you mentioned by counting. Try that for a few days and you'll see how very frustrating it can be. However, when it comes to the Fuse software, there is no visual aid for colour blind people. Change the leds to read "R" "G" "O" and just by looking we all would know what bank on Mustang 1 and 2 the amp is in. First modeling software to help colour blind users. Another gold star for Fender.

Being able to print out a preset and band track list would be great.

Drag 'n' drop rearranging of presets would be awesome.

And in that vein, allowing slots to remain empty if we choose to delete the preset or band track.

Lastly, when viewing the Fuse interface, it would be great to have a column on the left that would show more than one preset AND you could see its band track. That drop-down menu is tedious when hunting something down and you don't have the location memorized.

Had fun mocking it up:

ARX320, that's a great mockup and a super idea. I like that the bank leds are at the top in a row. This would certainly help those colour blind guitarists to identify which bank the amp is on at a glance, once they know the order of the leds (Red, Green, Orange)
Left red, middle green, right orange. The on screen list of presets and backing band name would certainly get a lot of use. Drag and drop would just make it so awesome.
Fingers crossed on this idea. Great job!

Hi ARX320,

Very nice! Thanks for your input here.

P. S. (JohnR242) The 'leds' you are seeing in the window here are Apple Mac OS window buttons and not related to Fender FUSE. But it is an interesting thought. Thanks.

Thanks, glad you liked it! Fuse is a good app, and I appreciate Fender has asked for our input to make it better. 8)

I tried some screen capture and edits then loaded them on Photobucket, lets see if this old guy can get it to print here or at least get you to Photobucket.

Well, at least it takes you over to Photobucket so you can see what my idea was.

How on earth do you print it directly here?
