Dear Fender team.

Just got me a Super Champ X2. Congrats this is a fantastic sounding amp!
After playing a bit with the different voices on Ch2 I figured out that it is not possible to store every setting with the individual amp presets. This is not an issue in a studio scenario but quite bad for playing live. So could you please allow Fuse to store every parameter including FX combinations, FX settings, sound controls, volume and gain with every particular amp? Every Pod for 100 bucks could do that. If these settings could be called up using a floorboard (e.g. The Mustang floorboard) the SCX2 would be just perfect for me.

Thx. Stefan

How about a revision to the existing PC app for new Windows 8 PCs and Tablets with touch. There are new Windows 8 tablets that run Windows 7 PC software, so you get the benefit of tablet portability and touch while the existing version of Fuse SW already works. There is opportunity to enhance or optimize the existing app for touch though.

Disclosure: I work for Intel and I do promote tablets with Intel processors and what you can do with them on social media channels. I have been showcasing Fuse as a great app that just works on these new tablets and just posted video at below URL to showcase the usage some. My interest is personal though as I think the SW is great and better touch support would be excellent. Forgive my clear novice-ness with the capability descriptions.

I would like the ability to save/restore backups from a specified file. I do my main editing at home, but would like to save to dropbox so that when I'm at rehearsal or a gig, I have my presets available to Fuse running on my laptop.

Hi gpasq,

Thanks for your feedback and ideas here. Currently, what you can do is to perform a Backup in Fender FUSE, copy the back up folder (ID'd by date) to your Drop Box account, then pull the folder back down to your PC or a different PC and place it back in the appropriate folder for Fender FUSE to have when you launch and want to restore that specific back up. I will discuss this with our software team as well.

Yeah, that's what I do now. But a "Save As" and "Open" would be much simpler. Thanks for looking into it!

Hi gpasq,

You are very welcome. We have passed your suggestion on to our Software team as well. When you say "Save AS" and "Open", can you clarify what you are saying a bit? We have Save Preset As and Open functions now. But I am guessing that this is not exactly what you are saying here. Thanks much.

I believe gpasq was referring to full backups, not single presets. When you save a backup, you can't choose to which folder on the computer the backup will be saved. Same goes for restoring a backup, you can't browse to a file anywhere on the computer, (on your desktop for example) you must put the backup file where FUSE 'expects' to see it.

In a separate thread, I suggested users could create a simple batch file to do all the work of copying the files. The batch file could be run on a schedule to copy all backups to the Dropbox folder, or could be run manually as needed.

Hi strings10927,

Thanks for chiming in here. I've got it. I have passed along the related suggestions and information to our Software team. I agree that something along the lines of what is being discussed here would be very cool. It has been passed along to the right folks.

Cheers Guys,

Alan

It would be great if you could change and save the default settings for the effects and Amps in Fuse and in the amplifiers.

As is, every time I change an amp or effect I have to change all the settings to the way I like them, and that takes a while - it's a real pain when I'm working with the amp alone.

How about an irig/amplitube style device for fender fuse. For those of us that travel alot, it would be fantastic to use our presets on the road.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your feedback and input here. And Richard001, to your comment, you might want to set up a default Preset that you can simply load into any Preset location as your default or generic Preset, and go from there.

Regards,
