How about a developer’s kit to create our own models and effects?

Now is the time to speak up with your suggestions. I've seen lots of complaints so......?
I don't own an amp that uses Fuse but have been thinking about one for practice so I've tried to keep up with what is going on.

I would like you to (1) allow audio previews of presets online before downloading; (2) enable drag and drop moving of presets between the amp and the computer library. (To be frank, the whole UI is far from user friendly, but those are my main two wishes).

Any easier more intuitive way of saving presets to the amp and to the computer from the amp would be great.

Also, can't say that I understand Silverlight or what it does, but an interface not based on it might be helpful. Silverlight now wants to update on my computer (MacBook Pro) but I am afraid to do it because I don't know if Fuse will be affected.

Also, Fender Fuse is pretty stable on my mac, but is the least stable mac program I have (i.e., the one most prone to crashes, freezing and oddly enough disabling my trackpad mouse and keyboard so that only by getting my bluetooth mouse out can I control the computer again). Don't know how much of that is Fuse and how much Silverlight, but any fix would be great, though it is "pretty good" now.

(By the way, Fender's continuing support for Fuse is much appreciated -- the latest upgrade to allow mid control on the Mustang 2 was an excellent surprise!)

Get the glaring unresolved bugs fixed and lose Silverlight, duh.

Silverlight? WHY?

I'm still waiting for the major fail on the knobs to get resolved.

Nothing kills your enthusiasm for a new amp like running into this stuff. I regret buying the amp at this point.

Good point...
My two main wishes are the ability to easily re order the numbering of the presets on the amp and the capability of exporting a list of the presets to a spreadsheet such as Excel where they could be edited and printed.
I reserve the right as always, to change my mind. :)

Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for all your feedback so far. Please keep it coming. And Bezmotivnik, as to your concern about the issue you mention with the amp channel knobs, this is fixed and in final testing now. An update with the fix in it will be coming very shortly. Thanks for your patience on this one. Thanks again all.

Cheers,

A cross-platform suite will work best. I'm shedding all Microsoft products as quickly as possible. If any future products are Microsoft specific, I'll pass.

Something I mentioned a while back is how FUSE doesn't "remember" my last setting for the backing tracks. In other words, if I set it to loop the backing track for a preset, and then change to another preset, it would be nice if it was still set to loop when I return to the first preset.

Something that would help colour blind people to identify the red, green and amber preset leds in fuse. This would help all Mustang 1 and 2 colour blind owners, to use their amps and the Fuse software..
My idea is to have the led symbol that is currently a circle with the channel colour, changed to a RED "R", a GREEN "G" and an ORANGE "O" alongside the preset name.
Then when the Preset knob on the amp is moved the software would give a symbol identifying what colour channel it was on.

Now that would make Fender Fuse the first modeling software that helped colour blind guitarists.

Hi JohnR242,

Thanks for your input here. Do you mean to say that you would like the presets to note the bank with the actual color name? As Fender FUSE is currently, you will see the bank by color shown in the Preset name in the main Preset Editor window and in the Media Library under the Amp tab. I understand that you probably cannot see these indicators clearly. But if you could clarify/confirm on this it would be great. Thanks much.

Cheers,

I'd like it if it were possible to set the defaults for any Amp or effect. So you could select them and not have to make the same adjustments every time.

I'd also like it if you could create folders and sub-folders in the media library so you'd be able to organize the presets logically instead of having them all in one long list.

Another vote for Drag and drop. I cannot believe the software could even be released without this feature.
