I have a G Dec 3-30 still loaded with the original presets that came with the unit and all are listed in the Preset folder and show up in my library, fine. But, if I creat a new folder calling it 'Presets SA' with my own custom presets why do these presets auto save to the library and the original fuse Presets folder when I open a preset from this "new" folder? This is annoying, as I want to keep these presets separate.....what am I doing wrong?

Hi sackman,

I am not quite following here. Can you please clarify where each folder is located on you're PC and specifically what you are trying to achieve in terms of organization? And we can go form there. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me..Yes, it is tough to explain but I think I got it now. I was using the 'open' function to access my custom file presets instead of 'import' . Selecting 'Open' automacially loads the selected preset from my custom preset folder to the library and to the original fuse preset folder (which I dont want) and you have to delete it and then open another preset. If I happen have an original fender preset in my custom folder it will tell me this preset is already in the library and then its a real hassle to get things right.
In any case, using the import function is probably the right way to get this done and it seems to work for me.
I would still like to be able to build other preset lists in the library a call them up when I need them but I cant find a way to do that. I guess thats where the SD card fills this gap?

Hi sackman,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the SD card would likely be a good alternative storage location for you to use. Keep in mind that you can always perform backups either within Fender FUSE or manually on your PC from any/all of your storage locations for your Fender FUSE/G-DEC 3 related date. This way, you could keep your data where you like and keep it backed up the when and where you like as well. Please let us know if we can assist further.
