I purchased this amp after seeing the Feder fuze software and all the fantastic options for presets. Once I registered and plug in I see less than 10 total presets. The other amps seem to have hundreds. Why is that?

I also own the Super Champ xd. What happened to the Acoustasonic and Hot Rod voicings on the x2? Is there any chance those can be added through fuse? I am planning to give the xd to my Dad, but I will sure miss those settings.

Also, is it possible to use presets from other amps on the Super Champ x2? I doubt it, but it doesn't hurt to ask. This is a great little amp, but the lack of support compared to the other models is a bit astounding. I need more presets

EDIT: One more question, if I have the combo x2, would there be any benefit to buying the 112 cab? It seems it could simply plug into the combo amp, correct? I got the combo as a replacement for an XD or I would have simply purchased the head. Thanks again for any help and information.

Am I the only one who owns this amp? Maybe I should trade it in?

I am a little surprised there is no community using this thing. It seems like there are a lot of possibilities, but usage seems limited at best.

Hi Anakin2Solo,

Thanks for your inquiry. You bought a very cool amp (in my opinion). The "Preset" structure for this particular product is different than the other Fender FUSE connected products. This amp has a Voice and FX type of structure. That means that you can save amp "Voices" to any of the 16 locations (Channel 2). This setting includes the amp model and a stomp box (if applied) and their related settings. You can also save up to 15 FX (effects) chains and their related settings (Channel 2).

You will see "Save Voice" and "Save FX" buttons in Fender FUSE. These are the primary settings locations for this amp. It is possible to create and load standard type Fender FUSE Presets. However, due to the hardware structure of this amp, you will need to manually set the channel gain, volume and tones as these are not saved or loaded when a Preset is created/loaded. Please have a read through the manuals via the link below and let me know if I can assist further.

I just got the Super Champ X2 a couple of days ago. Sounds great, and that's where it ends. It took an entire day to get fuse to recognize my amp, hours of reading posts, restarts, uninstalls, etc. Finally got it working. Changed a preset, played along to a couple of backing tracks, had a good time. Get home from work today, "no amp connected."
Fender Fuse is the only software that I've had issues with since I started using Windows 7.
I too am disappointed with the lack of available presets, no amplitube or recording software included as with the $99 Mustang. No usb cable, no time to play because I'm screwing around trying to figure out how to get it all to work. As a small tube amp, it sounds fantastic and is easy to use on it's own. The rest of the "features" are just a complete disappointment.

Hi keith vachon,

The Fender SuperChamp X2 does not have a headphone jack. However, if you have a small mixer or audio device with a line input, you can connect the line output on the SuperChamp's back panel to a line-level input of a audio interface or compact mixer, etc. Please let me know if I can assist further.

Cheers,

Simply buy a jack/stereo adapter, put it in the speaker out port, plug in headphones and your wife will be happy... Works for me.

Hi guitarken88,

We would not actually suggest doing this. What we would suggest would be to bring the 1/4 inch line output from the amp to a line level input source such as a compact mixer or audio interface, etc. Then you will want to use the headphone output from there. Keep in mind that the line out is dependent on the Master volume from the amp channel.

Please let us know if we can assist further.
