Loren, HELP!!!!!!
I am really getting annoyed with FUSE software..I have 2 problems now....... I find that if the same AMP is being used in a series of presets in numerical order..ie Blkface Cln on 06,07,08,09 etc., the amp knobs wont change when you select the neighboring presets.
If I select and open slot 07 for example and then go to open 06,08,09 the AMP knob settings for 07 show up. I can only get the others to open up correctly if I open up a slot with a different AMP model (Brit Steel in slot 18 for example) and go back to open the Blkface slots. This is also the case when a preset is dialed on the gdec3. The gdec 3 Amp has the correct knob positions but not FUSE.
I have spent countless hours on this and I am ready to deep six FUSE....

My first issue was the the preset name not showing up in the Fuse preset control panel. See my post "Bug??....Preset names not appearing in control panel". I e mailed my logs for this issue to you and I havent heard back for you. My last post entry was on Apr 14th.
Also, other members are having this issue as well (see post responses).
I loaded and reloaded Fuse and starlight twice now and no fix with either problem.

This bug is known and allready discussed in some other thread. I can tell you from my email contact with Loren, that there is a good chance that we will see all these bugs fixed quite soon, including the bug with the unintended switching on of Fx (where I was sure, it must be a hardware bug). Give the guys from Fender some time.

If you want to fix this glitch right now, you have to go back to Silverlight 1.4 and Fuse 2.41. You can keep the new firmware 1.9.

Thanks Frente
This software has been out for quite sometime now and as you stated, if I go back to earlier posts many similar problems existed for over a year now...how much time does Fender need to get it right?

Hey Sackman,

As Frente stated we are aware of the bug and are working on a fix for it. We appreciate your patience on this issue.

Regarding the preset name bug, I"m afraid it's a pretty intermittent problem. For now, the best workaround is to make a small change to the affected preset, reverse the change, then save the preset. That fixes the problem for most users.

Pretend it's Microsoft Windows ... how long does Microsoft go on patching and updating each version of Windows? For pretty much the life of the OS, right?

i'm pretty sure that most of the problems discussed right now (exept the "Fizz") are problems of communication / message passing from and to the silverlight GUI. Fender should really thing about creating a "stand alone" version of Fuse, which should not be too difficult. Have a look at the "homemade" interface for Linux called "Plug". On the windows side Visual Basic, C++ or C# could do that. And I'm sure such an interface would be much faster and wouldn't need so much resources like Silverlight does. If I had more time left, I'd really like to try ...
