Were you ever successful in locating one? Thanks.

Hey. check this thread out: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=71134&p=841156#p841156

Check out the Touch Wah demo I posted, the first lead tone is based on "Shakedown Street" by the Grateful Dead. I think it still needs work, but let me know if you'd like it as-is. Maybe you can tweak it into shape. :)

Also, the second lead tone is based on "What I Am" by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians, but it's pretty 'Jerryesque'. Would be happy to share that one too.

Thanks Strings, but I can't wrap myself around that sound. I'm searching for his Tiger or Rosebud sound but not in the style that you created (nothing wrong with it, nice sound, but too much wah for me) or the Estimated Prophet style.

I think a lot of that sound has to do with those amazing one-of-a-kind guitars. If you listen to the older recordings when he played mostly Gibson guitars, the tone is a little more "standard".

Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD_36cu ... re=related

You might be chasing a unicorn trying to dial in Rosebud tone using just amp settings. What kind of guitar(s) do you play?

Didn't mean to get into a discussion of Jerry's guitars. Yes, the Gibsons sound like Gibsons, Rosebud and Tiger sound like themselves, unique, and their sound is owed in part to their pups and Jerry's fingering, but what I was looking for was something to get me closer to his sound, I was looking for some insight into the settings he used on his pedals and other goodies. Thanks anyway folks! Hunting for this is half the fun.

It just sounds like a tube amp with reverb. Maybe try preset #92 (Basic '65 Deluxe) and EQ it to sound good for the room you're in & crank the reverb? It doesn't sound like anything special to me in terms of settings, other than the frequent use of the T-Wah.
